Club Canary Car Rental Services Terms & Conditions

1. Staying on the Island: You can only use our rental cars on Tenerife. If you need to travel to other islands and have the car for more than 4 days, please check with us first. We’ll try to help, but we can’t guarantee availability.
2. Drive All You Want: Enjoy unlimited kilometers with no additional fees. Drive as much as you like without worrying about extra costs.
3. Booking and Payment: To reserve a car, make a down payment first. Pay the balance when you pick up the car, either by cash or card. No credit card information is required for booking.
4. Safety Deposit: Typically, no safety deposit is required. However, for drivers under 24 years old or those who recently obtained their driving license, a deposit of 400€ is required. Please confirm via live chat or WhatsApp.
5. Getting Your Car: We deliver your car to your hotel or specified location. If you’re not staying at a hotel, choose a well-known nearby location as the meeting point. Be on time and keep your phone handy in case we need to reach you.
6. Sometimes We’re Late: We strive for punctuality, but delays can occur due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. If we’re more than 15 minutes late, please contact us.
7. About Our Cars: Our fleet is regularly maintained and cleaned. While some cars are almost new, others may show signs of frequent use. Remember, this is not a luxury car service. Expect safe, reliable vehicles ready for the road.
8. What If There’s Damage?: All vehicles are insured. Minor scratches are common due to tight parking spaces in Tenerife, and no charges will be made for pre-existing marks. If concerned, you may document the car’s condition upon delivery.
9. Rental Duration: The minimum rental period is 24 hours. We do not offer rentals for shorter periods.
10. Returning the Car: The process is simple. We’ll contact you at pickup time. You may also leave the keys with your hotel or apartment reception for convenience.
11. Gasoline: Please return the car with the same amount of gasoline as when you received it. If the tank is almost empty, you will likely need to fill it up soon after picking it up. We do not require a safety deposit, which makes this approach simpler, though we rely on the honesty of our clients to return the car with the correct amount of fuel. The person delivering the car will guide you on where the nearest gasoline station is located and explain how to refuel the car, including which type of petrol to use. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have about the process.
12. Free Delivery: We offer free delivery within South Tenerife, including Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, Callao Salvaje, and Playa Paraíso. Deliveries to Tenerife South Airport incur a 10€ charge. Please note that we do not typically offer delivery services to the north of Tenerife, such as Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz. However, exceptions can be made for rentals lasting more than 4 days. Alternatively, deliveries to these northern locations can be arranged for an additional fee starting at 60€.
13. Solution for Northern Clients: For those located in the north and seeking a convenient option, you can take a bus to the Los Cristianos bus station where we will deliver your rental car. You can also return the car either at this location or at the airport. This arrangement provides a practical solution without the need for additional delivery fees to the north.
14. What You Can’t Do With the Car: No off-road driving is allowed, as our insurance does not cover this type of use. Additionally, you are not covered if you lose the car keys or damage the tires through improper driving practices, like drifting. Please be cautious and responsible. Avoid leaving valuables in the car to prevent theft. If a window is broken or any damage occurs under such circumstances, it’s important to contact us immediately to discuss how to resolve the situation.
15. Not Sure About Driving?: If you’re not confident in driving, or if it feels overwhelming, consider one of our bus tours as a relaxing alternative. It’s important to note that if you choose to drive, you should be able to communicate in at least basic English or Spanish. 16. Cancel or Change Your Booking:

• Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your booking.
• Cancellation between 48 and 72 hours before results in the loss of your deposit.
• Cancellation 12 to 48 hours before incurs an additional charge of 20€ per day (up to 100€).
• Cancellation less than 12 hours before or no-shows: A fee of 30€ per day (up to 150€) is applied.
