Deposit
This is the amount you pay to reserve your Abrazo boat trip. The deposit, in this case, is a portion of the total amount to be paid and therefore will not be returned after the activity.
Arrival
The remaining amount to be paid is noted as Arrival. You will pay this on the day during boarding the Abrazo Catamaran. This can be done in cash or via card unless your ticket states otherwise.
Your paid down payment, and the amount to be paid on arriving, will be listed on your E-ticket that you will receive after you place your order.
Abrazo catamaran information
- Do not forget your Club Canary ticket. You can have it on your phone or printed out.
- Make sure you carry some cash or card with you, as the Abrazo boat tour requires final payment before it begins.
- Pack your swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- The crew of this boat speaks several languages.
- A maximum of 11 participants can join this Abrazo whale watching trip.
- Make sure you do not go on board with an empty stomach. Make sure you have not drunk any alcohol before boarding in order to minimise the chance of becoming seasick.
- It is advisable to take a travel sickness tablet 30 minutes before departure.
- On the boat, there are sunbathing spots and sitting areas in the shade.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- There is a toilet and a room to change your clothes.
- You will be asked to take your shoes off. Shoes and flip-flops will remain stored until the boat’s return to the port.
- Please note that due to lack of space, wheelchairs are not allowed onboard.
- Smoking is allowed only at the back of the boat, where it will not disturb anyone.
Catamaran meeting place
- Meeting point: Costa Adeje, Puerto Colón. Gate 6. This is at the front of the harbor on the left back side.
- You should attend at least 15 minutes before departure time.
- The guide will pick you up in front of the gate, and then escort you to the boat.
- There are spacious parking areas in the port of puerto colón. The hourly rate is approximately 1.20€.
- Open the location on google maps, find here the departure location and the office of Club Canary.
- If you come to the departure point by yourself and want to use the drop-off service afterwards, indicate it on the order note.
Abrazo catamaran policy
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- The Abrazo boat trip requires a minimum number of 4 participants. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/excursion or a full refund.
- You may cancel or reschedule the trip for free up to 48 hours in advance. Send us your request by email: office@clubcanary.com.
- If you do not cancel in time or are not in time on the day of the tour, there will be no refund.
- If you get seasick and the captain has to change the itinerary, you won’t get refunded.
- If anything during the Abrazo tour is not to your liking, you should speak to the Abrazo crew about it. The Club Canary team will not be on the boat, and cannot properly judge certain situations.
Abrazo Tenerife
Abrazo is a 14 meter Catamaran with an original design by Kleenes. The catamaran based in Puerto Colon is known as the exclusive ‘chill out’ catamaran with a unique glass floor. The whale watching Costa Adeje experience with the Abrazo takes on a different form: you will relax, sunbathe, be served delicious snacks and at the same time have the opportunity to spot marine life by sitting comfortably.

The Abrazo has a maximum capacity of 11 guests and is ideal for a relaxing afternoon in Tenerife for couples or a group of friends. Abrazo sailing Tenerife
On this beautiful and chill 3-hour excursion, you will have the chance to relax and spot some animals in their natural habitat in the southeast zone of the island of Tenerife. You can also take a dip in the clear waters of the ocean and you will be served tasty snacks such as assorted canapés, fresh fruit and drinks.
Abrazo 6-hour boat trip
The six-hour Tenerife Abrazo trip is only available in summer. This boat trip to Masca Bay will give you the opportunity to admire the beautiful cliffs of Los Gigantes and Masca Bay, where you may want to take a dip. The boat trip gently sailing towards the Teno-Rasca protected area where most of the marine life can be found. During the Abrazo boat trip you will see whales and dolphins as we sail into the bay where you can later take a refreshing swim and do some snorkeling. During each 6-hour trip, you will be served tasty seafood paella while sipping Canary white wine and eating some fresh fruit. After enjoying your meal, the Abrazo sails quietly back to the port of Puerto Colon. Should it not be summer, and you would like to take the boat to Masca there is an alternative. Even though the service is not the same the Maxicat catamaran Tenerife offers 5 hour trips all year long.
