Working at Club Canary
🤝 Joining the Club Canary Family
Work at Club Canary is special. We create unique moments, from big proposals to amazing events. We serve top clients and aim for the best service always. “Live Legendary” is how we live, not just words. It’s important to fit well with our team. Here, we’re not just coworkers – we’re a family dedicated to the highest quality.
🎓 Onboarding & Training
🌴 Experience Activities Firsthand
Working at Club Canary isn’t just about selling experiences – it’s about living them! Our agents and social media teams are often invited to join private excursions or to enjoy standard activities for free. This helps us promote them authentically to our clients. It’s one of the delightful perks of the job. Plus, our adventures aren’t limited to Tenerife; they span across Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura too!
⏰ Work Schedule & Locations
Our primary operation hub is at Plaza del Duque. Here’s a glimpse into the working rhythm:
- Standard Operation: Five days a week with two primary shifts: 08:00-15:00 & 15:00-22:00.
- Team Huddles: Set aside 1 to 1.5 hours weekly for team sync-ups.
- Always On the Move: Club Canary runs daily, even on holidays, from 08:00 to 22:00, with summer evenings stretching till 22:30. Flexibility is crucial, but frequent last-minute changes? Not so much.
- Techies and Special Holidays: ICT students enjoy flexible hours, often exempted during special holidays since they don’t engage directly with clients.
💻 Tech-Savvy Requirement
🌍 Languages
- English is Essential: Our primary mode of communication is English. Every candidate should be proficient in it.
- Additional Languages: We serve clients from The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, and Russia. Proficiency in any of these languages is a definite plus, but not mandatory.
- Espagnol: It’s beneficial but not crucial. Team meetings are primarily in English. The only exception might be if all attendees are native Spanish speakers.
📬 Application Response Time
Swamped with applications, we appreciate your patience. Our typical response window is 1-5 days. But remember, omitting essential components like the introduction video (for office or social media roles) or sending non-English/Spanish docs not addressed to Club Canary usually means no response from us.
🚫 Think Twice Before Applying to Club Canary
Not Feeling Our Spirit
If you want a normal job and don't feel our "Live Legendary" message, Club Canary might not be for you. We work with heart and want to make every moment special.
Not Loving New Tech
The world changes fast, especially with technology. If you don't like using new tech tools or find them hard, Club Canary might be hard for you. We use many tools to give our clients the best.
Rooted in the Canary Islands
We're looking for people who deeply love and understand the Canary Islands. If you haven't lived here for at least three years, know its culture, residents, and places, or are thinking about moving from another country for this job, Club Canary might not be the right place for you.
Thinking Short-Term
If you're seeking a laid-back job in Tenerife just to enjoy the beach and work casually, Club Canary might not be for you. We value long-term commitment and aim to grow together as a team. Temporary stints are not what we're looking for.
