Maxicat boat trip
- Maxicat offers free pick-up service. Find all the pick-up locations here.
- Make sure you have some cash or a debit card with you, as the Maxicat tour requires a final payment before it begins.
- Pack your swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- The crew of this Maxicat catamaran speaks several languages.
- Make sure you do not go on board with an empty stomach. Make sure you have not drunk any alcohol before boarding in order to minimise the chance of becoming seasick.
- It is advisable to take a travel sickness tablet 30 minutes before departure.
- On the boat, there are sunbathing spots and sitting areas in the shade.
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- There is a toilet and a room to change your clothes.
- You will be asked to take your shoes off. Shoes and flip-flops will remain stored until the boat’s return to the port.
- On the Maxicat catamaran you cannot go on with a wheelchair. However, assistance can be offered to get on board.
- Important: Change of boat. Due to technical problems and until further notice, our departures on “Maxicat” are now on “Mustcat”. The experience is exactly the same, “Mustcat” is a similar catamaran – the fun remains!
Maxicat in Puerto Colon
Only for people who will not be picked up- The boat of the Maxicat can be found in the port of Puerto Colon at gate number 9. The gate can be found at the end of the harbor near the gasoline station.
- You should attend at least 15 minutes before departure time.
- At the front of the gate is staff from Maxicat. They will check your ticket possibly take payment and then take you to the catamaran.
- There are spacious parking areas in the port of puerto colón. The hourly rate is approximately 1.20€.

Maxicat boat
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- You may cancel or reschedule the trip for free up to 48 hours in advance. Send us your request by email: office@clubcanary.com.
- If you do not cancel in time or are not in time on the day of the tour, there will be no refund.
- If you have any complaints about the trip, they should be indicated to the Maxicat staff on the day. Club Canary staff are not present on the day and cannot judge on-board situations.
- If you get seasick and the captain has to change the itinerary, you won’t get refunded.

Maxicat Catamaran 3-hour Tour
The 3-hour Maxicat tour sets off every day at 10:00 am and 1:15 pm. On some days, there’s also a sunset tour at 4:00 pm (availability upon request). During this trip around Tenerife, you’ll search for whales and dolphins. With a lot of them living near Tenerife, you’re almost sure to spot some on your 3-hour trip. The tour also includes an open bar and lunch. Plus, there’s a short break for a snorkeling session in the water.
Maxicat Puerto Colón
The Maxicat leaves from Puerto Colón port daily. You can find it at gate number 9, at the back of the port. While we mostly talk about shared trips here, you can also charter the Maxicat catamaran. It’s a popular option for business trips and team building.
