Enjoy a real private stargazing experience in La Palma at one of the darkest skies in Europe. This is designed for travelers who want a calm, personal telescope session with a passionate astronomy guide, not a bus tour.

Aikataulu ja tapaamispaikka:
• Standard start time: around 20:00 (season dependent).
• Second session may start approx. 2 hours later if the first is fully booked.
• Total duration: ~1.5 hours.
- Tapaamispaikka: Museo Roque de los Muchachos car park.
• Important: the museum building is closed at night. Guests meet outside in the car park only.

The guide often runs two private sessions per evening. We never assign guests to the later session unless necessary. Both sessions offer the same sky quality and experience.

Kuljetus:
This is a self-drive stargazing experience. Most guests come with their own rental car. If you need a taxi, no problem, we cooperate with trusted local drivers who can provide round-trip service (waiting included). After booking, we can help arrange and confirm exact pricing based on your location.

This is always a private experience. Only your group attends. Bookings are possible from 2 up to 16 people.

Timing is strict:
Please arrive on time. Because two sessions can run on the same evening, delays are not possible. Late arrivals may miss the experience and be considered a no-show according to policy.

Deposit & politiikka:
This is a private, date-blocked experience. Deposits do not cover last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Please review the Club Canary Stargazing Policy before booking.

• You confirm your private stargazing tour in La Palma with a small deposit via Club Canary. It counts toward your total.
• The remaining balance is paid on the day directly to the guide (cash or card accepted).
• This is a fully private reservation. The guide blocks this time slot exclusively for your group.

Cancellation Policy (Based on Meeting Time)

• Free cancellation up to 4 days before the scheduled meeting time (normally around 19:30).
• Cancelled between 4 days and 48 hours before meeting time: the deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancelled between 48 hours and 6 hours before meeting time: Deposit is lost. Late fee: 75€ (groups 1–4 people) / 100€ (groups 5+ people).
• Cancelled less than 6 hours before meeting time or no-show: Deposit is lost. No-show fee: 150€ (groups 1–4 people) / 200€ (groups 5+ people).

These rules may feel strict, but this is one of the most popular private stargazing experiences in La Palma. The guide prepares professional telescope equipment and often operates at high occupancy. Last-minute cancellations are extremely difficult to replace.

Contact Rules (WhatsApp Required)

• The phone number entered at checkout must be active and reachable on WhatsApp on the tour day.
• Please keep your phone charged and monitor WhatsApp for timing updates.
• If the guide attempts contact and receives no response, it may be treated as a missed connection.

Strict Timing (Two Tours Per Evening)

• The guide often runs two sessions per evening.
• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early at the meeting point.
• If you arrive late, the session will not be extended and may be shortened.
• In serious delay cases, the guide may need to cancel your session completely (no refund).

Weather & Date Changes

• This experience cannot be rescheduled based on personal weather preference.
• La Palma offers some of the best sky conditions in the Canary Islands, and even on average nights, professional telescopes provide excellent observations.
• Only the guide decides if conditions are unsuitable.
• If the guide cancels due to poor visibility or safety concerns, you will receive a full refund or reschedule option.
• If you do not hear from us, the tour runs as planned.

Taxi Responsibility (Self-Drive Tour)

• This is a self-drive experience. Guests are responsible for arriving on time.
• If you plan to use a taxi, make sure the driver schedules the trip early enough to avoid delays. We are happy to help you arrange trusted local taxi drivers who can provide round-trip service and wait during the stargazing session. Taxi prices in La Palma are generally fair and not excessively high compared to other destinations.

Booking Recommendation

• We recommend booking at least one week in advance for best availability.
• This is an exclusive private experience and frequently sells out.

If Fees Apply

• If a no-show or late cancellation fee applies, Club Canary must issue an invoice because the partner still needs to be paid.
• If payment is not completed voluntarily, formal recovery procedures may be initiated.

Resolving Issues On-Site

• If something feels off during the experience, speak directly with your guide immediately.
• Club Canary staff are not present on-site; the guide is the fastest way to resolve concerns.
