Transport & Optionen:
This activity is in El Médano. Guests usually come by their own car, taxi, or bus. Parking is available nearby, but this area gets busy, especially on windy days. If you drive, come early. If you prefer less stress, we recommend taking a taxi.

This experience is designed for personal attention. Group lessons are usually done with two beginners and one instructor. A private lesson means one instructor with one participant, which is ideal if you want the quickest progress.

• Swimwear (optional under the wetsuit), towel, and sunscreen
• Water and a small snack (do not arrive with an empty stomach)
• If you use contact lenses, consider bringing a spare case or glasses

Safety notes:
• Do not drink alcohol before your session
• Always follow the instructor’s instructions, especially during kite control practice on land
• Wind and waves decide the pace of the lesson. Some days are perfect, some days are more technical. That is normal for kitesurfing in Tenerife

• There is a toilet and a changing room at the watersports school

Deposit & final payment:
Club Canary makes it easy to reserve with a small deposit. The remaining balance is paid before the lesson starts. Please bring cash or a debit card for the final payment.

Deposit & Bezahlung

• With Club Canary, you secure your Tenerife kitesurfing lessons with a small deposit — this amount is deducted from your total price.
• The remaining balance is paid before the kitesurf lesson El Médano begins, directly to the activity operator.
• The deposit confirms your reservation but does not protect against late cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute changes.

Stornierungspolitik

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
• If cancelled between 24 and 48 hours before the lesson, the entire deposit is lost.
• If cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson, the entire deposit is lost and a 50€ penalty per person applies.
• If you cancel less than 1 hour before the lesson or do not show up, you lose the entire deposit and remain responsible for paying the full remaining balance.
• No refunds are given for arriving late, stopping the session early, or deciding that kitesurfing is “not for you.”

Participation Requirements

• You must be able to swim confidently and have a reasonable level of physical fitness.
• Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum age is 70 years. For exceptions, contact us in advance.
• Children under 16 require parental or legal guardian permission.
• Participants must not consume alcohol or drugs before the lesson.
• All safety instructions given during kitesurfing in Tenerife must be followed at all times.

Verantwortung und Verhalten

• Club Canary works only with licensed local partners who manage the practical side of the activity.
• Club Canary staff is not physically present during the lesson and cannot judge on-site disputes or skill-level disagreements.
• If a participant behaves dangerously, ignores instructions, or disrupts the session, the instructor may end the lesson without refund.

Weather & Wind Conditions

• Kitesurfing in Tenerife depends entirely on wind and sea conditions.
• If the session is cancelled due to unsafe or hazardous weather, you will be offered a new date or a full refund of your deposit.
• Wind strength and wave conditions can affect lesson progression. Not all participants will reach board level in their first session — this is normal.
