⚓ The Boat Changed. The Service Did Not.
The specific catamaran this page was built around is no longer available, so there is no instant online booking here at the moment. It may return in 2027, and it may not.
What has not changed: Club Canary still arranges private catamaran charters in south Tenerife for company outings, team events, big families and celebrations. That is the part we are good at, and the boat is just one piece of it.
So this page now works differently. Tell us your group size, your date and the kind of day you want, and we come back with the right boat and a real quote. For a charter this size that is how it should work anyway, because no two group days are the same.
📧 Get A Private Charter Quote
Send these four things and we will come back with options, a price and availability. Usually the same day.
- Tamaño del grupo and roughly how many are adults.
- Your date, or a few dates that could work.
- How long you want on the water, most groups take 3 to 5 hours.
- The occasion: company outing, team day, birthday, family group, celebration.
Need an official invoice with taxes included, or a payment plan across departments? Say so and we will set it up from the start.

Private Catamaran Hire Tenerife, Quick Facts
Private Catamaran Hire Tenerife, Built Around Your Group, Not A Timetable
A private catamaran in south Tenerife for your group only. No strangers, no fixed schedule, no fighting for a seat. Whale and dolphin watching along the coast, a swim stop in a calm bay, food and drinks on board, and a plan that actually holds together on the day. This is what Club Canary organises most often for companies and large groups, and it is the part we are genuinely good at.
Tell us the group and the date. We will tell you honestly which boat fits and what it costs.
What Size Group Can We Handle?
Almost any, and the right boat changes with the number. This is the first thing we need from you, because a day for 12 and a day for 60 are completely different jobs.
- A smaller boat is usually better value and feels more personal.
- Good for families, close colleagues, birthdays and anniversaries.
- We often suggest a yacht or a smaller catamaran rather than a big one.
- Where a catamaran really earns its place. Space to spread out, shade, sun decks and room to move.
- The most common size for company outings and team days.
- Cost per person drops quickly as the group grows.
- Entirely doable, and it needs planning rather than a booking button.
- Extra crew and extra catering are arranged in advance.
- Above 70 guests we confirm everything manually before accepting.
- Transport for the whole group can be arranged alongside the boat.
How A Private Charter Day Usually Runs
The shape of the day is the same whichever boat you end up on. Here is how it normally goes.
Your Private Catamaran Day, Step By Step
- 1
Meet And Board
At a marina in the south of Tenerife. Quick welcome, safety briefing, then everyone claims their spot. The shaded beds go first, every time.
- 2
Observación de ballenas y delfines
Along the south coast, with a licensed operator and a responsible approach. Pilot whales and dolphins are resident here, so sightings are common rather than lucky.
- 3
Swim Stop, Food And Music
Anchor in a calm bay. Swimming, your own playlist on the sound system, food and drinks served on board, and the point where the group properly relaxes.
- 4
The Longer Route, 6 Hours Or More
Book a longer charter and the route can continue toward Los Gigantes and the cliffs near Masca. Bigger scenery and a proper cruise rather than a quick loop.
- 5
De vuelta a la marina
Photos, a bit of dancing, and a group already asking what you are organising next. Onward transport can be arranged if you have dinner or another activity booked.
What Should You Budget?
Fair question, and most charter pages dodge it. These are indicative figures from the charters we have run, so you can budget before you enquire. Your real quote depends on the boat, the date and the group.
| Grupo | 3 Hour Charter | Por persona |
|---|---|---|
| 20 guests | around 2.900€ | about 145€ |
| 30 invitados | around 2.900€ | about 97€ |
| 40 guests | around 3.300€ | about 82€ |
| 50 guests | around 3.400€ | about 68€ |
| 60 invitados | around 3.500€ | about 58€ |

Company Outings And Team Events
This is the work we do most, and the reason companies come back. A boat day is one of the few team activities where nobody can leave early, nobody is on their laptop, and people who never normally talk end up talking.
One point of contact. You deal with our team, not with a boat, a bus company and a caterer separately.
Proper paperwork. Official invoice with taxes included, suitable for expenses and accounting. Payment plans and split invoicing are normal requests, not awkward ones.
Backup thinking. If a boat has a technical problem or the weather turns, we look for an alternative vessel or a reschedule rather than leaving you to tell forty colleagues the day is off.
Honest sizing. If your group is better served by two smaller boats or a different kind of day, we will say so. A bad corporate day costs us more in reputation than it earns in commission.

How To Get A Quote, And What Happens Next
- Tamaño del grupo and how many are adults.
- Your date, or a few that could work. Flexibility usually saves money.
- Hours on the water. Most groups take 3 to 5.
- The occasion, so we match the boat to the mood.
- Which boat or boats fit, with what is actually on board.
- A real price including taxes, with no surprises bolted on later.
- Availability for your date, and honest alternatives if it is taken.
- Transport options if you want the group moved together.
- We normally reply the same day, and always within 24 hours.
- Quotes hold for a set period, because availability and prices move.
- Busy dates such as Christmas week, New Year and local fiestas are confirmed manually.
- Book early. Charter prices rise as dates approach, they do not fall.
- Reserve with a deposit, with the balance on an agreed schedule.
- Payment plans and split invoicing are available for company bookings.
- Official invoice with taxes included, issued as soon as you need it.
Typical Private Charter Terms
These are the terms private charters normally run on. Your own quote carries the exact terms for that boat and that date, and we send them in writing before you pay anything.
Cancellation, Sliding Scale
- Más de 45 days before departure: 90% refund.
- 20 to 45 days antes: reembolso de 75%.
- 8 to 20 days before: 60% refund.
- de 4 a 8 días before: 30% refund.
- de 2 a 4 días before: 20% refund.
- Menos de 48 horas: 10% refund.
- Under 24 hours or a no-show: no refund.
Why The Scale Is Steep Near The Date
- A private charter takes the entire boat out of sale for that slot. Nobody else can take it at short notice.
- Crew, catering and sometimes extra staff are booked and paid for in advance.
- That is also why booking early is cheaper, and why we always put the terms in writing first.
Tiempo
- The captain's decision on sea conditions is final, always.
- If the trip cannot run safely, you are offered a reschedule or a reembolso completo.
- If guests choose to return early for seasickness or personal reasons, the charter counts as delivered.
Conducir
- Crew instructions are followed at all times. Drugs are not allowed on board.
- If behaviour puts guests, crew or the boat at risk, the captain may end the trip early with no refund.
- For younger party-style groups, extra crew is sometimes required, which affects the quote. We will tell you up front rather than after.
Accesibilidad
- Most catamarans here are not wheelchair accessible because of the layout. Tell us if this matters and we will check what is possible.
- Toilets, changing areas, sun decks and shaded seating are standard.
Snorkelling And Water Toys
- For large groups we usually advise keeping the boat day simple. Alcohol, big numbers and water sports together create real safety issues.
- If your group wants snorkelling or jet skis, we arrange them separately with proper guides and supervision.

🚀 Operate a catamaran or large private boat in south Tenerife?
Club Canary is looking for the right vessel to feature on this page. We want a boat that handles groups up to around 90 properly, with real catering, proper crew and an operator who stands behind their own service when something goes wrong.
What we bring: a page that already ranks for group and corporate charter searches, a team that handles the whole client relationship, official invoicing, and a steady flow of company bookings rather than one-off tourists.
Send details to events@clubcanary.com and we will come back quickly.
Ready when you are. Email events@clubcanary.com o envíe un mensaje a nuestro equipo local en WhatsApp, abierto todos los días de 08:00 a 22:00.
La Opinión Sincera de Club Canary
Hablando en serio de su equipo local en las Islas Canarias
The boat this page was built around is gone, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What matters is that the hard part of a private charter was never the boat. It is matching the right vessel to the right group, getting fifty people to the marina on time, and having someone pick up the phone when a plan wobbles.
That part we still do, every week, and it is most of what our events team works on. So instead of an instant booking button that would send you to a boat that no longer exists, you get a quote from a person who knows which boats are actually good right now.
One piece of advice, free. If your date is flexible, say so in your first message. Midweek and shoulder season charters are noticeably cheaper, and most groups do not realise they had the choice.
Send us the group, the date and the occasion. We will do the rest.
