La Palma Private Taxi Tour, From The Cruise Port
The simple way to see La Palma on a port day. An official La Palma taxi meets your group at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, and for three or five hours the island is yours: the viewpoints above the capital, the crater of the Caldera de Taburiente and the volcano from the 2021 eruption on one route, or the laurel forest, the waterfall and the natural pools of the green north on the other. Up to four people, one price per taxi, and a driver who plans the day backwards from your all aboard time. Also for anyone staying on the island who wants a private day without renting a car.

Shore Excursion In Santa Cruz De La Palma, How Your Day Works
Cruise passengers on La Palma usually get two choices: a coach with fifty people on a fixed route, or a walk around the old town and back to the ship. The taxi tour is the third option. Same island, your own car, four seats, and a price for the taxi instead of per head. The driver works to your ship's clock, not the coach company's.

This is the part people worry about, so let us be direct. The route is planned to finish with a buffer. If a stop runs long, the driver drops a stop, never the buffer. A taxi with four people can turn around in a minute; a coach with fifty cannot. Your driver knows your ship and your all aboard time, and plans the day backwards from it.
The Two Routes, 3 Or 5 Hours Each
Both routes start with the two viewpoints above the capital, where you see Santa Cruz, the port and your own ship from above. Then they split: south and west to the volcanoes, or north into the green. The 5 hour version does every stop below; the 3 hour version does the main ones, chosen with you on the day around your priorities and your ship's time.

- Your driver is an official licensed La Palma taxi driver, not an official tour guide. He knows the island, explains the main things in basic English, and uses a translation app in the car for the rest. If you want a certified guide with full commentary, this is not that product, and we say so.
- A modern, air conditioned taxi for up to 4 passengers, your group only. Groups of 5 or more take two taxis; message us and we arrange it.
- Day bags and cameras are fine. This is a tour, not a transfer, so no suitcases.
- Children are welcome; tell us ages when booking so the right seats are in the car.
- The taxi is not wheelchair accessible. Tell us about any mobility needs and we check what is possible.
- La Cumbrecita sits at about 1,300 metres and the north is often cloudy and cooler. Bring a light jacket, comfortable shoes, sun cream and water.
- Roads and viewpoints can close in bad weather. The driver adapts the route for safety, and a stop may change on the day.
- On the north route, bring swimwear and a towel if you hope for a swim at Charco Azul. The sea decides.

- Your deposit reserves the taxi, the driver and the date, and counts toward the total price.
- The balance is paid to the driver on the day, in cash.
- Availability is confirmed before your booking is final. Club Canary confirms by WhatsApp or email within 24 hours.

- A real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot take part, dated before the tour or the same morning. It covers the person named on it, not the whole group. For everything else, your travel insurance is the right route; ask us for a written booking confirmation for your claim.

- If your ship's arrival or departure time changes, tell us as early as you can and we adjust the plan with the driver where possible.
- If your ship cannot call at Santa Cruz de La Palma at all, message us as soon as you know. You get a full refund of your deposit.
天气与路线变更
- Stops depend on weather, road access and time. The driver may change a stop for safety, and an alternative is always offered. Swimming is never guaranteed.
- If the tour cannot run at all, you get a free reschedule or a full refund.

- Please follow the driver's instructions. Guests behaving unsafely or under the influence may be refused service without a refund.
- The driver is not responsible for belongings left in the taxi.

Cruise days on La Palma are short, and the island is steep. A coach excursion spends half of it waiting for the last passenger. A taxi with four seats and a driver who knows the roads spends it driving. That is the whole idea here: you pick a route, you pick three or five hours, and the day is yours.
We keep it honest: the driver is a licensed taxi driver with basic English and a translation app, not a certified guide with a microphone. If you want the story of every viewpoint, this is not that.
