Since summer 2025, weāve clearly stated on our website that this boat party has the highest chance of cancellations and that the organisation is not always well managed. Club Canary always does its best to avoid problems and make your day smooth. Itās not required, but itās a good idea to check in with us 1ā2 days before your trip, especially if you have pick-up service, just so you know youāve been warned and there are no surprises.
- Deposit and No-shows: For cancellations less than 24 hours and no-shows, an additional charge of 25ā¬ per person will be applied. Club Canary allows you to reserve with only a deposit, making advance booking easy. However, if you don’t show up or miss the boat, the deposit doesn’t cover the experience. Therefore, timely arrival is crucial.
- Water Sports Activities: To participate in water sports activities (such as jet skiing), you may not consume alcohol beforehand.
- Not Enough Participants: The Gran Canaria boat party is really popular and almost never gets canceled because there are not enough people. However, in quieter months like November, March, and April, sometimes we might have to cancel. If that happens, we’ll try our best to let you know quickly and look for ways to make it happen another day, or put groups together to avoid canceling. If we do have to cancel, you can reschedule for free, but please note that if you choose this option, you wonāt be able to ask for a gift voucher or other compensation later. Alternatively, you can choose a gift voucher for the full amount you’ve already paid, and you can use it for another activity like a regular boat trip, jet skiing, or a quad experience.
- Seasickness: If you get seasick and the captain has to change the itinerary, you wonāt get a refund.
- Complaints: Issues concerning the boat trip must be addressed to the Volcanic Boat members on the day. The Club Canary staff is not present on the boat, and therefore cannot judge certain situations.
- Responsibility and Respect: Ensure that you have fun but always follow the instructions of the crew members. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.
