A Small Group, Not a Big Sightseeing Boat
The Blue M keeps things small, with a maximum of 12 guests, so there is space to sit back and enjoy the sea rather than being packed onto a crowded deck. You get sunny and shaded seating, a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly local crew who know these waters. It is comfortable and easy-going, which makes it a natural fit for couples, families and small groups of friends who want a calmer trip. If you would rather have the whole boat to yourselves, you can also book the private Blue M charter.

Responsible Whale & Dolphin Watching
Gran Canaria's south coast is one of the finest places in Europe to see marine life, and the Blue M holds the official Barco Azul authorisation for responsible whale and dolphin watching. The crew uses local knowledge to look for wildlife and always keeps a safe, respectful distance. Dolphins are resident along this coast and are spotted on most trips, and whales appear regularly through the year.

Wild dolphins. Spotted on most Blue M departures along the south coast of Gran Canaria.
🐋 Strong Odds, Honest Promise
Dolphins live along the south of Gran Canaria, so they are spotted on most Blue M trips, and whales turn up regularly too, which is exactly why the boat carries the official Barco Azul licence. Because they are wild animals, no crew can promise them on one specific trip, and our team would rather under-promise than oversell. The odds are strong, and you can see plenty of recent sightings in the guest reviews and photos.

Club Canary's Honest Take
Real talk from your local team in the Canary Islands
If you want the small-group feel without paying for a whole private charter, this is a sweet spot. A maximum of 12 guests, a licensed crew, a swim stop and food and drinks on board make it far more comfortable than the big sightseeing boats, and the group discounts make it good value for couples, families and friends.
Keep two things in mind. Dolphins and whales are wild, so no crew can promise a sighting on any single trip, though the odds here are strong and most trips do encounter them. The swim stop also depends on the sea that day. Come for a relaxed morning on the water, and enjoy the ride.
Reserve with a small deposit, pay the rest on the day, and enjoy the Blue M.
