Schedule & Duration:

• Total experience duration: approximately 4–5 hours.
• The evening starts with a sunset stop in the mountains followed by the stargazing experience.
• After the session, guests are transported back to their accommodation.

Pickup Service:
This Gran Canaria stargazing tour with pickup includes round-trip transport from the main tourist areas in the south of the island. Guests are collected between Puerto de Mogán and Bahía Feliz and driven into the mountains where light pollution is minimal and the night sky is clearly visible.

Small Group Experience:
This is a small group stargazing tour designed to avoid the large bus tours. Normally up to 8 guests travel in the tour van. In addition, up to 12 self-drive guests may join the stargazing experience directly at the mountain location. Even with self-drive participants the group remains relatively small, allowing everyone to see through the telescopes and interact with the astronomy guide.

Drinks:
During the sunset stop guests receive a small welcome drink. You can choose a glass of cava or juice. Snacks are not provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own food or drinks if they wish.

Children:
Children aged 5 years and older can join the tour. Booster seats are available in the transport. Please write the child’s age in the Club Canary order notes when booking so arrangements can be prepared.

Warm Clothing is Important:
Although Gran Canaria is warm during the day, the mountain areas can become much colder at night, especially during the stargazing session. Guests should bring warm clothing and dress in layers. Closed shoes are highly recommended. A limited number of coats are available to borrow, but it is best to come prepared so you can enjoy the experience comfortably.

Payment:
The Gran Canaria stargazing tour price is 75€ per person.
• 25€ deposit paid when booking with Club Canary.
• 50€ paid on the day directly to the guide.
Group discounts may be available for larger bookings.

Weather & Sky Conditions:
Stargazing depends on clear skies. If weather conditions are not suitable for the astronomy experience, the instructor may reschedule the tour or cancel it. In that case, guests will be offered a new date or a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 48 hours before the tour start time.
• Cancellations within 48 hours result in the loss of the deposit.
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
• If large groups cancel last minute, additional fees may apply depending on the supplier.

Weather Policy

• The Gran Canaria stargazing experience depends on clear skies.
• The astronomy guide monitors weather conditions before every tour.
• If conditions are not suitable for stargazing, the tour may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
• Guests are normally informed at least 1 hour before the tour if changes are required.
• If you do not receive a message from Club Canary, the tour runs as planned.

Pickup & Timing

• Please be ready at your hotel entrance at the confirmed pickup time.
• If guests are late and miss the pickup, joining later by taxi may be possible but is at your own expense.
