A Go Slow Panoramic Island Tour, Not A Coach Trip
The pace is deliberately relaxed. This is a go slow panoramic tour: a scenic drive with proper photo time, not a checklist sprint. The minivan means small roads and viewpoints a full-size bus simply cannot reach, and the guide can stop when the light is right rather than when the timetable says so.
If you want maximum sights per hour, this is not that tour. If you want to actually look at the island rather than photograph it through a window, it is.
Fuerteventura History And Nature In One Day
This works as a cultural and historical day as much as a scenic one. Betancuria was the island's first capital and the streets show it. The Ajuy Caves are among the oldest exposed rock in the Canary Islands. The miradors and lava fields between them tell the volcanic half of the story.
For anyone who likes history with their views, this route covers more ground in one day than you would manage on your own without a lot of map reading.
Who This Tour Is Not For, The Honest Bit
We would rather lose the booking than have you sit through a day that does not suit you. So, plainly:
Children under 8. Not permitted. This is a shared social trip with strangers in a small van for 7 hours, and it is not a fair environment for a small child or for the other guests. Book the private tour instead.
No toilet in the minivan. There are stops throughout the day, but if that is a problem for anyone in your group, factor it in.
Some mobility limits. Walking is light to moderate, but the Ajuy Caves path is uneven. Tell us your needs in advance and we will be straight with you about whether it works.
Staying in the south. No pickup from Costa Calma, Morro Jable or Jandía on this tour. See the private option.
What Is The Best Fuerteventura Island Tour?
It depends on what you are optimising for, and anyone who answers that question without asking where you are staying is guessing. If you want the island highlights in one day with a real guide and no coach, this small group tour is the sensible pick from the north or centre. If you want a route built entirely around you, your own vehicle and pickup from the south, the private island tour is the better product and we will say so.
And if you have a rental car and enjoy driving, you can reach Ajuy and Betancuria yourself. What you buy here is the local knowledge, the viewpoints you would drive past, and a day where nobody has to navigate.

Thank you for booking your Fuerteventura island tour with Club Canary. This is not red tape, it is fairness. When a guest cancels last minute the guides still prepare and travel for that day. Please read this before you book.
Deposit och betalning
- Only a small deposit is required to book, and it is deducted from the total amount.

Avbokningspolicy
- Cancel or change your booking for free up to 48 hours before the tour starts.
- For groups of 5 or more people, free cancellation is possible up to 4 days before the tour.
- Cancellations made after that point result in a lost deposit and may include extra supplier fees.

Late Arrivals And No-Shows
- If you miss your hotel pickup, you can still join the tour by meeting the group at the first stop, at your own expense.
- Guests who cancel less than 3 hours before departure lose their deposit and may be charged an additional 50% of the balance, to cover guide and fuel costs.
- This keeps the small group tours fair and smooth for everyone.
Weather And Route Changes
- All routes depend on local weather and road conditions. If an area such as the Ajuy Caves or Betancuria becomes unsafe, the guide may adjust the itinerary.
- If the tour has to be cancelled because of weather, you are offered a new date or a full refund.
- Guests are notified at least 2 hours before pickup if a change is necessary.
Behaviour And Safety
- Club Canary works with licensed, experienced drivers and guides.
- Please follow all safety instructions during the tour and respect the local environment.
- Guests behaving disrespectfully or under the influence of alcohol may be denied participation without a refund.
Children And The Social Nature Of The Trip
- This is a shared social trip. Children under 8 years are not permitted.
- Children of 8 and over may join if parents are confident they will be comfortable and considerate of other guests across a full day.
- If that is not the case, contact us and we will suggest a private tour or another activity that fits better.

If you want the island highlights in one day, this is the version we recommend. Dunes, caves, villages and volcanic views, in a van with eight people instead of a coach with fifty. The pace is deliberately slow and the guide has time to actually talk to you, which is the whole difference.
Three honest things before you book. Children under 8 genuinely cannot join, and that is not us being difficult, it is a 7-hour shared day with strangers. There is no toilet in the van, so plan around the stops. And if you are staying in Costa Calma or Morro Jable, we do not collect from there on this tour, so either come to the pickup zone or take the private option.
