A Go Slow Panoramic Island Tour, Not A Coach Trip
The pace is deliberately relaxed. This is a go slow panoramic tour: a scenic drive with proper photo time, not a checklist sprint. The minibus means small roads and viewpoints a full-size bus simply cannot reach, and the guide can stop when the light is right rather than when the timetable says so. The trade-off is honest: it is a big island and the loop is long, so expect real time on the road between the stops, with panoramic windows and the landscape doing the entertaining.
If you want maximum sights per hour, this is not that tour. If you want to actually look at the island rather than photograph it through a window, it is.
Fuerteventura History And Nature In One Day
This works as a cultural and historical day as much as a scenic one. Betancuria was the island's first capital and the streets show it. Tindaya was sacred to the first islanders. The Ajuy Caves are among the oldest exposed rock in the Canary Islands. The viewpoints, old volcanoes and lava flows between them tell the volcanic half of the story.
For anyone who likes history with their views, this route covers more ground in one day than you would manage on your own without a lot of map reading.
Who This Tour Is Not For, The Honest Bit
We would rather lose the booking than have you sit through a day that does not suit you. So, plainly:
Children under 8. Not permitted. This is a shared social trip with strangers in a small van for 7 hours, and it is not a fair environment for a small child or for the other guests. Book the private tour instead.
No toilet in the minibus. There are stops throughout the day, but if that is a problem for anyone in your group, factor it in.
Some mobility limits. Walking is light to moderate, but the Ajuy cliff path to the caves is uneven. Tell us your needs in advance and we will be straight with you about whether it works.
Long stretches on the road. The loop goes right round the island. Comfortable minibus, panoramic windows, but still a long day of driving between the stops.
Staying in the south. No pickup from Costa Calma, Morro Jable or Jandía on this tour. See the private option.

Is this tour good for families?
It depends on the family. The tour is great for adults and older kids who enjoy exploring and social trips. Children from 8 to 12 years old can join (with a small discount), as long as parents are confident they’ll behave well. Kids under 8 years old normally can’t join, but sometimes we can make an exception if you’re a larger group and you’re sure your child will behave nicely. For families with younger children, we recommend a private tour for a more comfortable experience.

Can I book the Fuerteventura Island Tour as a solo traveller?
Yes. Solo travellers are welcome on the small group Fuerteventura Island Tour, and many join alone. A single booking pays a small supplement because the tour price is built around pairs; the booking form shows the exact amount. You get the same seat, the same guide and the same day. Small Group Island Tour Policy
Thank you for booking your Fuerteventura island tour with Club Canary. This is not red tape, it is fairness. When a guest cancels last minute the guides still prepare and travel for that day. Please read this before you book.
Deposit And Payment
- You reserve with a small deposit. You pay the rest on the day. The deposit is part of the total price.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 people: free up to 48 hours before the trip.
- 4 to 7 people: free up to 4 days before.
- 8 or more people: free up to 7 days before.
- Big groups are hard to refill at the last minute. That is the only reason. If your group only gets smaller, tell us at least 48 hours before and we lower the price. To cancel, email office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- You cancel after your free window, but more than 24 hours before? You lose your deposit. You pay nothing more.
- You cancel between 12 and 24 hours before? You lose your deposit, and you still pay 80% of the rest. We send you a payment link.
- You cancel less than 12 hours before, you do not show up, or you arrive too late? You lose your deposit, and you still pay the full rest. We send you a payment link.
- Our partner charges us the full price for your reserved places either way. That is why the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
The Only Exception
- The only exception is a real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot join. It must have a date from before the trip, or the same morning. A paper made after the trip does not count. We need this document for our partner. Feeling unwell without this paper is not enough for a refund. We know this is strict, and we are sorry, but it is the only way we can protect against last-minute cancellations.
Missing The Bus
- During the tour you get free time at some stops. Your guide tells you a clear time to be back. If you are not back in time, the bus leaves and you do not get money back. Every bus has GPS, so we can check all pickups.
