The Jeep Safari Fuerteventura is a small-group 4x4 day out in the north of the island, run by a trusted local team. You are picked up, then head off-road through dunes, volcanic ground, fishing villages and beaches a normal coach cannot reach.

Off The Tarmac, The Whole Point
Most of the day is spent on dirt tracks and off-road, not the main roads. That is the point: the 4x4 gets you to the empty beaches, the volcano and the fishing hamlets that the coaches drive straight past.
Expect some bumps, plenty of dust, and views you will not get from a road. Do not wear your good clothes, and do bring a camera.

Only 6 guests travel per jeep. Your seats and your driver are reserved in your name and the operator is paid either way, so a late cancellation cannot be absorbed. Full terms in the Policy section below.

How long is the safari and what days does it run?
The safari itself runs roughly 09:30 to 15:30, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Once the hotel or port transfers are counted, plan for a full day out.
It is active and dusty, with stops on uneven ground, so come in comfortable closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting sandy.
Is lunch included?
No, food and drinks are not included. There is free time at El Cotillo where you can eat at a local spot, and plenty of guests bring their own water and a snack instead.
Bring water either way. The north of Fuerteventura is windy and the day is long.
Is the jeep safari suitable for families and children?
Yes, families are very welcome. The child price applies from age 2 to 11, and the adult price from 12. Up to 6 guests travel per jeep, so it stays personal rather than feeling like a coach trip.

No, Club Canary does not recommend it. The day is long, the tracks are rough, and several stops involve walking on sand, lava or uneven ground.

What language is the tour in?

The guides are multilingual, and on busy days two language groups may share a jeep. This happens when one language group is already full and a second is formed. Club Canary creates separate language groups wherever possible, so booking in advance improves your chances of a dedicated one.
Can I cancel or change my date?
Yes. Cancel or move your date free of charge up to 48 hours before the trip, and your deposit is refunded in full.
Inside 48 hours a cancellation cannot be refunded, because your jeep seats and driver are already reserved for that day. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you choose another date or a full refund.

Can I cancel or change my date?
Cancel or move your date free of charge up to 48 hours before the trip and your deposit is refunded in full. Booking 4 or more guests? Every window is doubled, so free cancellation runs to 96 hours before.
After that: 24 to 48 hours before, you lose the deposit and nothing more. 12 to 24 hours before, you lose the deposit and pay 65% of the remaining balance. Less than 12 hours before, a no-show, or not being at the pickup point, you lose the deposit and pay the full remaining balance.
Only 6 guests travel per jeep, so your seats and your driver-guide are reserved in your name and the operator is paid whether you arrive or not. That is also why the deposit is small. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you choose another date or a full refund.

Deposit And Payment
- You reserve online with a deposit and pay the balance on the day. The deposit is part of the total price, not an extra fee.
- Prices shown include taxes and fees, so there are no surprise costs on the day.
Free Cancellation
- 1 to 3 guests: cancel or move your date free up to 48 hours before. Your deposit is refunded in full.
- 4 or more guests: free up to 96 hours before, which is 4 days.
- Send cancellations to office@clubcanary.com or message us on WhatsApp. The time we receive it is what counts.
After Your Free Window Closes
- 24 to 48 hours before (48 to 96 hours for 4 or more guests): you lose the deposit. Nothing further is charged.
- 12 to 24 hours before (24 to 48 hours for 4 or more guests): you lose the deposit and pay 65% of the remaining balance.
- Less than 12 hours before (less than 24 hours for 4 or more guests), a no-show, or not being at the pickup point: you lose the deposit and pay the full remaining balance.
- Where money is still owed we send a payment link. This is the balance of a booking you made, not an extra fee.
Why The Late Terms Are Firm
- This is not Club Canary being difficult. Your seats and your driver-guide are reserved in your name, and the operator is paid for the day whether you arrive or not.
- Only 6 guests travel per jeep, so one late cancellation is a large share of that vehicle and nobody else can take the seats at short notice.
- That is exactly why the deposit is small. You hold your seats cheaply, and in return the late terms have to be real.
Someone In Your Group Cannot Come
- You do not need to cancel the whole booking. If one person drops out, the rest can still go, and we would much rather you did.
- Tell us as early as you can. Inside the late windows above the empty seat still counts, because it was held for you.
- Running late on the day? Call us immediately. If the driver can still collect you we will try. We cannot help once the convoy has left.
Changing Your Date
- Inside your free window, moving to another date is free and easy, subject to availability.
- Once the free window has closed, a date change is treated as a cancellation under the terms above.
Weather
- This is an outdoor 4x4 day, so it depends on the weather.
- If the trip is cancelled by the operator for weather or safety, you choose another date or a full refund. You never lose money when the operator cancels.
Cruise Guests
- Please give your ship name and all aboard time when booking so we can check the timing with you before the day.
- The team returns you to the port in good time, but ships, ports and traffic are outside our control, so always allow a margin.
Ages And Documents
- Child price is for ages 2 to 11, and the adult price applies from 12.
- Age documents may be requested, so bring ID for children.
- Children must be with a responsible adult for the whole trip.
Responsibility And Conduct
- Follow the driver-guide's safety instructions at all times. The driver may adjust or end the trip for safety reasons.
