Catamaran Trip, Quick Facts
What This Catamaran Trip Is Really Like
You sail out of the port of Morro Jable along the stunning Jandia Peninsula: soft sun, open water, and the volcanic coastline drifting past. With a maximum of 10 guests you are close to the water, close to the crew, and never lost in a crowd. There is room to move, room to relax, and a crew that actually has time for you.
The trip lasts about 4.5 hours, a proper half-day out, with dolphin and whale watching, a swim and snorkel stop, and food and drinks along the way.

This is the boat ⛵ One catamaran, ten guests maximum. What you see is what you sail, no crowds hiding below deck.
Happy Day Or Sunset, Which Departure Fits You?
Same boat, same route, same small group. The only difference is the light.
- Full daylight and the brightest water for the swim stop.
- Back mid-afternoon with the whole evening free.
- The easy pick for families.
- Golden-hour finish as you sail back toward the port.
- Softer light, calmer mood, cameras out.
- The romantic pick, couples love this one.
Space To Actually Relax
This is the part big boats cannot give you. Stretch out on the bow net with the ocean gliding underneath, sunbathe on deck, or just sit with a drink and watch the coast. Ten guests means the good spots are actually free, nobody queues for the ladder, and the whole day stays calm and personal from start to finish.

The best seat on board 😎 Stretch out on the bow net with the ocean gliding underneath you. With ten guests it is actually free when you want it.
Dolphins And Whales, The Main Event
The waters off Jandia are rich with marine life. Dolphins live here all year round and often come close to the boat, and whales pass through these waters too. With a small group and a quiet boat, the animals stay calm and the views feel personal. It is one of the best spots in Fuerteventura for whale and dolphin watching.
Honest as always: these are wild animals in the open ocean, so sightings can never be promised, and the crew always keeps a respectful distance.

The main event 🐬 Dolphins live in these waters all year round and love to play near a quiet boat.

Whales pass through too 🐋 Wild animals, so nothing is ever 100% certain. But the chance of seeing dolphins here is very high, and whales visit these waters often.

Food And Drinks, With A Personal Touch
No need to pack a picnic. Drinks are included throughout the trip, and there is a fresh seafood tasting with traditional Canarian wrinkled potatoes, a real local treat, served on deck while the coast slides by.
And then there is Paco. He often heads out fishing early in the morning before the trip, and when the catch is good, he prepares fresh fish for the guests on board. It is never a promise, but when it happens, you are eating fish that was swimming that same morning. That is the kind of day this is.

Is It Better Than The Big Catamaran Tours?
For most people who want a relaxed day, yes. On a big boat you share the deck with dozens of strangers, queue for the swim ladder, and feel like a number. Here the dolphins stay calm around a quiet boat, the crew has time for everyone, and the whole day feels personal. It is the difference between a tour and a proper day out, and it is a lovely family trip too: wide, stable, calm, and safe, with space for kids to move and a swim stop to cool off.

Catamaran Trip Questions (FAQ)
The questions people ask us most about the small group catamaran trip in Morro Jable. Still unsure? Chat with our local team on WhatsApp, a real local helps you out fast.
What is the best catamaran trip in Morro Jable?
For a small, relaxed group, this is one of the best catamaran trips in Morro Jable. Most catamarans here pack in 40 or more people. They look great from the beach, but on board it gets crowded and busy. This one takes a maximum of 10 guests. So you get space, calm, and a personal day on the water.
How many people are on the catamaran?
A maximum of 10 guests per trip. That is the whole point. No big tourist crowd, no queue for a seat, no fighting for space. Just a small group, a friendly crew, and room to actually relax. It feels more like a day out with friends than a packed excursion.
Will I see dolphins and whales?
The chances are high. Dolphins live in these waters off Jandia all year round, and the crew knows exactly where to look. Whales pass through too, often pilot whales. But this is the open ocean, not a zoo, so nothing is ever 100% certain. What we can promise is a real, respectful search in one of the best dolphin areas in Fuerteventura.
Where does the catamaran leave from?
From the port of Morro Jable, in the south of Fuerteventura. A free transfer from the Jandia area is included with your booking. If you prefer, you can also make your own way to the meeting point at the port. The crew will tell you exactly where to go after you book.
How long is the trip and what time does it go?
The trip lasts about 4.5 hours, so it is a proper half-day out, not a quick rush. There are two daily options: the Happy Day Tour from 10:00 to 14:30, and the Sunset Tour from 14:30 to 19:00. Pick the one that suits your day. Both follow the beautiful Jandia coast.
What is included on the catamaran trip?
Plenty. Catamaran sailing along the Jandia Peninsula, dolphin and whale watching, a swim and snorkel stop, and time to sunbathe and relax. Food and drinks are included too, with a fresh seafood tasting and traditional Canarian wrinkled potatoes. Transfer from Jandia, insurance and taxes are all included in the price.
Is it good for families with kids?
Yes, it is a lovely family boat trip in Morro Jable. A catamaran is wide and stable, so it feels safe, and the small group keeps it calm. Kids love the swim stop and spotting the dolphins. One honest note: because the boat takes only 10 guests, children and adults pay the same price. There is no child discount, simply because every one of the 10 spots counts the same.
Can you swim and snorkel on the trip?
Yes. The catamaran stops at a calm, clear spot along the coast for a swim and snorkel break. It is the perfect way to cool off and spot some fish. Just bring swimwear and a towel. The crew makes sure everyone feels safe getting in and out of the water.
What should I bring?
Not much. Swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen are the essentials. Bring a camera or phone for the dolphins and the coastline. Sunglasses and a light layer are smart too. Everything else, the food, drinks and snorkel fun, is taken care of on board.
