Cancellation Policy & Important Rules – Jeep Safari Tenerife
Booking a Jeep Safari Tenerife with Club Canary is simple and transparent. The following rules apply to all jeep safari tours in Tenerife, including the Teide & Masca route and the jeep safari to La Gomera operated with Tamaran 4×4 vehicles.
Deposit & Betalning
- A deposit is required to confirm your jeep safari booking.
- The remaining balance is paid on the day of the tour, directly to the local operator.
- The deposit secures vehicles, ferry seats (for La Gomera), guides, and logistics.

- Free cancellation or rescheduling is possible up to 48 hours before departure.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour result in loss of the deposit.
- If you cancel late or do not show up, the remaining 50% balance must still be paid.
- No refunds apply for late arrivals or no-shows. Jeeps cannot wait once the tour has started.

- If a jeep safari to Teide is cancelled due to unsafe weather, a new date or full refund will be offered.
- Routes may be modified due to weather, road conditions, or safety reasons.
- Normal mountain conditions such as wind, cold, or dust are not grounds for refunds if the tour operates safely.
La Gomera Ferry Requirement
- The jeep safari to La Gomera includes a ferry crossing.
- A valid passport or identity card is required to board the ferry.
- If you forget your ID and cannot travel, no refund applies and the remaining balance must still be paid.
Shared Tour & Conduct
- This is a shared jeep safari day trip, not a private tour.
- You will share the vehicle with other guests.
- Unsafe or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund.
On-Day Issues
- If any issues occur during the Tamaran jeep safari, please inform the guide directly.
- Club Canary is not present during the tour and cannot make operational decisions on the day.
