Teide & Masca Jeep Safari
Travel up into Teide National Park for Tenerife's volcanic scenery, stopping at viewpoints around famous formations such as the Roques de García and Pico Viejo area, passing through the pine town of Vilaflor, and continuing toward the dramatic village of Masca. The tour takes about seven hours and includes a lunch stop in the Tamaimo area, though the meal and drinks are paid separately. Hotel pickup and return are included.
There is a lunch stop, but the meal is not included in the price. Bring some money for food and drinks.
La Gomera Jeep Safari
Cross by ferry from Tenerife for a full day on the green island of La Gomera. The route takes in the capital San Sebastián, the lush valleys of Hermigua and the pretty village of Agulo, and heads up into the ancient laurel forests of Garajonay-Nationalpark around Laguna Grande. The day lasts about nine hoursund die return ferry and a local lunch are included. Hotel pickup and return on the Tenerife side are included too.

La Gomera is reached by ferry, so every guest must bring a valid passport or national identity card on the day. Without valid ID, guests can be refused boarding, and this is not refundable. Please check everyone's documents before the tour.

The Teide & Masca Jeep Safari normally operates from Monday to Saturday, although the available guide languages can change by day and pickup area. Club Canary currently keeps the La Gomera Jeep Safari simple by offering Monday and Friday departures. Your final pickup time, meeting point and preferred language are confirmed after booking.
How many people travel in each 4x4 Jeep in Tenerife?
Tamarán states that its Tenerife and La Gomera Jeeps carry a maximum of eight people including the driver. This normally means up to seven guests in one vehicle. Larger bookings use more than one Jeep, and Club Canary keeps guests from the same booking together whenever capacity and operations allow.
Is hotel pickup included with the Jeep Safari Tenerife?
Yes. Pickup and return from your hotel or a nearby agreed meeting point are included for the supported Tenerife pickup areas. Enter your hotel name and resort when booking. The exact collection point and time are sent after the reservation is checked. A direct meeting at Los Cristianos harbour should only be offered when it has been confirmed in advance.
Do I need a passport for the La Gomera Jeep Safari from Tenerife?
Yes. Every guest joining the Jeep Safari La Gomera must bring a valid passport or national identity card for the ferry from Tenerife. Guests without valid identification can be refused boarding, so check all travel documents before the tour day.

Both routes are great, they just suit different days out. Pick Teide & Masca if you want Tenerife's volcanic scenery and mountain villages in a shorter day. Pick La Gomera if you fancy a proper adventure to a whole other island, with the ferry and lunch already sorted.
Two honest reminders: on Teide & Masca the lunch is not included, so bring some cash, and for La Gomera do not forget a valid passport or ID, no document means no ferry. Either way you are a passenger, so you can just relax and enjoy the ride.
