Water sports in Gran Canaria are family friendly, but the ages are strict and they differ per activity. Here is the real list, so nobody gets turned away at the harbour.

From age 3: 的 浮潜乘船游. Child price 3 to 11, full-face masks in kids sizes, food on board, and the little ones can simply swim off the boat. The easiest family pick by far.
从8岁起： 的 try dive at Mogán. Eight to 65, with an instructor holding the whole dive together. Under 16 needs a parent's permission.
从12岁开始： parasailing (with an adult), jet ski as a passenger, coasteering and kayaking. Teenagers love all four. Under 18s ride and jump with a parent or guardian.
From age 18: driving a jet ski. Under 24, bring your ID, the crews do check. Passengers from 12 can sit behind and swap in for the ride, but not drive.

Pregnancy, serious heart or back problems: sit these out, all of them, including the calm ones. Message us and we find you a boat trip instead.

Sea, Season & When To Book

Gran Canaria is a year-round water sports island, and the south-west is the reason. A few honest things shape your day more than the month.

Mornings are calmer. The sea is usually flattest before lunch, and the wind picks up in the afternoon. First-timers on jet skis and kayaks: take the early slot.
Coasteering has a season. It runs late April to the end of November, on set days. In winter the swell on that stretch is too big for jumps and abseils to be safe, so the operator stops. Honest, and correct.
Summer changes the timetable. The snorkeling boat adds early and midday departures in July and August, and jet ski slots fill days ahead. Book before you fly, not from the sunbed.
Weather is never your risk. If the crew calls it off for sea or wind, you reschedule or get a full refund. Nobody here sends you out in bad water to keep a booking.
