The private quad route can be customized depending on your wishes. Popular options include Teide, sunset viewpoints, forest roads, scenic mountain roads, photo stops and selected off-road sections where allowed. All routes depend on local regulations, availability, weather and safety conditions.

What About Off-Road?
Off-road sections may be possible on certain private routes, but this depends on the selected itinerary, local rules and partner confirmation. The Teide National Park route itself is mainly a scenic paved mountain route, because off-road driving in protected areas is not allowed. Club Canary tells you what is realistic before you pay, not after.
Optional Extras For Your Private Quad Trip
Optional extras can be added on request: a picnic stop, higher quality food, a restaurant stop, special sunset timing, a Teide cable car visit, photography moments or a more customized private route. Extra services are not included by default and may have an additional cost, always confirmed with you first.
A simple picnic or snack stop can be included depending on the chosen setup. If you want better quality food, a premium picnic or a restaurant stop, Club Canary arranges it for an extra charge.

The Teide Cable Car Add-On
A Teide cable car visit can be requested as part of the private experience. It is not included in the standard price, but it can be added on request. Cable car tickets, timing and availability depend on the official Teide cable car schedule and the weather conditions, so we always check your date before promising anything.

Private Sunset Quad Experience
At 3,718 meters, Mount Teide is the highest peak in Spain and one of the best sunset spots on the island. On the sunset version of the private trip you time the ride so the golden hour catches you at altitude, then roll home through the pine forest in the last light. Bring warm clothing, it gets cold near Teide when the sun goes down.

Everything you need to know before your private quad trip in Tenerife.

Väljumise ajad: 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, or sunset timing depending on the season. Exact start times can depend on the route, season, sunset time, group size and availability. Club Canary confirms the best timing after booking.
Licences: Every driver must be 18 or older with a valid FULL car licence held for at least 1 year, original document. UK provisional licences are not accepted. Passengers need no licence.
Lapsed: Children from 7 years old and at least 1.20 m tall ride as passengers with a licensed adult.
Piirangud: Maximum 160 kg per quad. Not recommended during pregnancy. Riding under the influence means no ride and no refund.
Pealevõtmine Pickup is available in selected areas of South Tenerife. Provide your hotel name or full address when booking. For special pickup locations or larger groups, Club Canary confirms the logistics after booking.

Thank you for booking your private quad trip with Club Canary. These terms exist because the quad team reserves the whole day exclusively for your group, and fairness works both ways.
Full Payment And Exclusivity
The private hire is paid in full in advance. From that moment the quads, the guides and the day are blocked for your group only, and other requests for that date are turned away.
Tasuta tühistamine
Cancel or reschedule 8 days or more before the tour: full refund, no questions.
Refund Ladder
4 to 8 days before: 80% refund.
2 to 4 days before: 60% refund.
24 to 48 hours before: 30% refund.
Less than 24 hours before: 10% refund. Less than 1 hour before, or a no-show: no refund.
Private Hire Reality
Traffic problems, oversleeping or one person in the group falling ill are not valid refund reasons on a private hire, because the whole day stays reserved for you either way. If something serious happens that is truly not your fault, this is exactly what travel insurance exists for, and we gladly help you with the paperwork it needs.

Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or showing unsafe behavior, are refused without refund. Cutting the day short does not create a partial refund, the fleet was reserved for you. Safety decisions by the team on the day are final.
