Which Day, Which Language
The trip runs twice a week and the guiding language depends on the day. This is not something we can change on request, so pick the day that matches your language.
Spanish, English and German. This is the day most international guests book, and the straightforward choice if you want an English or German guide.
Select your language in the booking box and we place you in the right group.
Spāņu valoda. The guide works in Spanish for the whole day, including the city walk and the volcano.
Can only travel on a Wednesday? Ask us first. We work with a second partner on La Palma and can sometimes arrange an English-speaking guide. It is not guaranteed, but we will tell you honestly what is possible for your date.
Read this before you book
- Bring your original passport, or other identification accepted by the ferry operator. This is island-to-island travel with document checks at the terminal, so a photo on your phone is not enough. Without valid ID you cannot board, and there is no refund.
- Nepalaid garām prāmi. The day starts early and a large part of the price is the ferry ticket, which cannot be recovered. If you are not in the north pickup area, come straight to Los Cristianos harbour for 07:45.
- La Palmā ir mikroklimati. The weather can differ a lot between areas of the island, so check the forecast and bring an extra layer.

What The Excursion To La Palma Covers

There is no hotel pickup on this trip and we think that works in your favour. Pickup routes mean a 06:00 alarm and an hour on a bus collecting other hotels. Instead you arrive when it suits you, park close by for a few euros, and start the day with a coffee at the harbour rather than in a minibus.

- The Puerto de la Cruz pickup supplement, if you need it, is confirmed after booking and paid separately by payment link.
- Any refund is handled by Club Canary directly, so you only ever deal with us.

- If your group only gets smaller, tell us at least 48 stundas before and we adjust the price.

- A genuine doctor or hospital letter stating that the guest cannot travel, dated before the trip or the same morning. A document issued afterwards does not count, as we have to pass it to our partner.
- A medical certificate covers the person named on it, not the whole booking. If six of you book and one falls ill with valid documentation, that guest's share is refunded and the other five are still expected to travel. We know that sounds blunt, and it is simply because their five seats are already paid for and cannot be resold the day before.
- Feeling unwell without documentation is not enough for a refund. We are sorry to be strict, and it is the only way we can protect a trip where the ferry seats are bought the moment you book.
The Ferry, ID And Pickup
- Missing the ferry means no refund. The crossing leaves on time, with or without you.
- Arriving without valid ID means no refund, because you cannot board.
- There is no hotel pickup on this trip except the confirmed Puerto de la Cruz arrangement. Please plan your journey to Los Cristianos and arrive in good time.
If We Cancel
- If the departure does not reach minimum numbers, or the ferry does not sail, you get a pilna kompensācija or another date, your choice. You never lose money when we cancel.
By booking with Club Canary you confirm you have read and accepted this policy. It is not there to make life difficult. Your ferry seats are bought the moment you book and cannot be sold to anyone else, which is exactly why these terms exist. If something genuinely goes wrong, talk to us and we will always try to find a fair solution.
