What You See In The Water
La Palma has some of the clearest water in the Canary Islands, because the island is young, steep and has almost no sand to cloud it. The east coast at Los Cancajos is sheltered, with lava rock, small bays and a reef close to shore. The guide takes you along the rock where the life is, points things out, and keeps the group together.

Common: schools of Atlantic fish, parrotfish, damselfish, trumpetfish, sometimes an octopus hiding in the rock.
Sometimes: rays on the sand, cuttlefish, and seasonal visitors depending on the month.
This is the Atlantic, not the Red Sea. No coral gardens, no guaranteed turtles. Natural, clear and quiet, and the visibility is the reason people come back.

Arriving By Cruise Ship?
This is one of the easiest shore activities on La Palma. Ships dock in Santa Cruz de La Palma, and the dive centre in Los Cancajos is about ten minutes away by taxi, with taxis waiting at the port. Book the 10:00 start for a morning in the water and an afternoon in the old town, or the 14:00 start if your ship arrives late morning.
Send us your ship's arrival and departure times when you book, or on WhatsApp before, and we tell you honestly which start fits. If neither does, we say so.
Night Snorkel And Private Snorkel

Good To Know Before Your Snorkel
- Starts at 10:00 of 14:00, every day. Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before. The dive centre is in Los Cancajos, east coast of La Palma, and the exact spot is on your Club Canary e-ticket.

- A real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot take part, dated before the activity or the same morning. It covers the person named on it, not the whole group. Feeling unwell without it is not enough for a refund. We know this is strict, and it is the only way we can protect against last-minute cancellations.
Weather & Sea
- If the guide decides the sea is not safe, you choose another time, another day, or a full refund. You never lose money when the operator cancels.
- Cruise guests: if the sea is cancelled and you cannot come back another day, you get a full refund.

- This is the open ocean. Fish, octopus and rays are often seen but never guaranteed, and there is no refund for what nature does or does not show.
