Who The Santa Cruz Tourist Bus Is For
Santa Cruz is a working capital, not a resort, and that is the charm: real streets, real shops, a park the locals use, and a seafront with one of the most photographed buildings in Spain. The sights are spread along the coast and up into the old town, which is exactly what a hop on hop off bus is for.

How The Tourist Bus Works
Simple, and there is no hotel pickup to wait for. Go to the nearest of the 13 stops, show your voucher and hop on. Ride as far as you like, get off at any stop to explore, and get back on the next bus 25 minutes later. One ticket, all day, as many stops as you want. The lower deck is covered if the sun or the wind gets too much.

Прогоны: daily, 09:30 to 18:15. A bus about every 25 minutes, full loop around 75 to 80 minutes.

No hotel pickup: it is a hop on hop off bus. Board at any stop and show your voucher to the driver. Residents of Tenerife have special rates at the Plaza de España stop with ID; those are not sold online.

Most visitors never see Santa Cruz, and the ones who do walk from the port to the shops and back. The capital is better than that: a proper old town, a park full of palms, the market, the museums, the carnival house, and the auditorium on the sea. The tourist bus strings them together for twenty euro, and the first stop is where the ships dock and where the bus from the south arrives.
Our honest tip: the 24 hour ticket is the one for a day in the city. Take the 48 hour only if you are staying in Santa Cruz and want the museum and the free drinks. Pick three stops, get off, and let the next bus find you.
