Friday 19 February 2027, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Cabalgata Anunciadora is the parade that opens the Santa Cruz Carnival: floats, comparsas, drums and half the city in costume, moving through the centre while everyone walks along. No tribune, no chairs, no sitting down. This is the night for people who can walk and want to be in it, not watch it: groups of friends, residents, hotel teams, interns, anyone who does not want to drive into a closed city and hunt for parking at one in the morning. The Cabalgata is the locals' night, so residents ride for less. How Your Cabalgata Friday Night Works
Between about 16:30 and 18:00 in the south depending on your area, around 17:30 to 18:30 in Puerto de la Cruz, at your hotel or a known meeting point nearby. Your exact time and point come by email about two weeks before, once Club Canary has grouped all guests by area.
Friday evening traffic into the capital plus Carnival. Use the toilet before you leave, there is none on the bus. Your host tells you the return meeting point and time. This is a transfer with boarding help, not a guided tour.
Buses park in the zone the authorities assign that night. It is not announced in advance and it can mean a walk of 10 to 25 minutes to the centre. Wear shoes you can walk in; tonight you will walk a lot more than that.
The Cabalgata moves through the centre for about three hours and you move with it: floats, comparsas, drum lines, confetti, costumes everywhere. In past editions the decorated floats contest ran the same night a short walk away. You are free the whole time, no group, no guide.
You walk back to the meeting point at the time on your ticket. Buses leave Santa Cruz in the slot the traffic police assign. The bus cannot wait; if you miss it, the way home is a taxi at your own cost, and on Carnival Friday that is a long wait.

Pick-Up Areas For The Cabalgata Anunciadora
Club Canary collects from hotels and known meeting points, never from private addresses or apartments. Enter your hotel name when booking, or the nearest hotel if you stay in an apartment. Residents write Plaza del Duque, Arona Gran Hotel, or the hotel nearest to them. Guests are grouped by area, so your bus makes fewer stops than a normal excursion coach.

Residents, Hotel Teams, Interns: This Is Your Night
Most Club Canary Carnival guests book the Coso and Ritmo y Armonía for the tribune chairs. The Cabalgata Anunciadora has no chairs, and that is the point: it is the night you walk, dance and drift from plaza to plaza with the locals. So this is the one night where we open the bus to the people who live and work here. A resident price, two fixed pick-up points with parking and a TITSA stop, Plaza del Duque in Costa Adeje and Arona Gran Hotel in Los Cristianos, and a minibus a whole hotel team or a house of interns can book in one go. You could drive. Then you sit in the queue into Santa Cruz, park somewhere you will not remember, and drive back at one in the morning. Or you get on the bus.

Betalning
- Full payment at booking. Buses are reserved with partners in advance.
- Groups of 15 or more can ask for an invoice and a payment split before booking.
- Bookings for this event opened on 24 September 2026.
- Prices can rise when availability drops. A lower price seen elsewhere is not a reason for a refund or a chargeback.
Resident Price
- For residents of the Canary Islands, coach only. After booking, send your order number and NIE on WhatsApp so your name is on the boarding list.
- Show your residence card at boarding. Without it, 12,50€ per person is paid by payment link before boarding: the 10€ difference to the adult price plus 2,50€ administration. No payment, no boarding, no refund.
If You Cancel
- More than 45 days before: 100 percent refund. Club Canary starts the bus schedules early, so this is the free window.
- 20 to 45 days before: 90 percent. The 10 percent covers administration and payment costs.
- 12 to 20 days before: 75 percent.
- 5 to 12 days before: 60 percent.
- 1 to 5 days before: 40 percent.
- Less than 24 hours, no-show, or missing the bus at the meeting point: no refund.
- Illness is not covered unless you send an official medical certificate; then Club Canary asks the partner for a refund on your behalf. Travel insurance is recommended.
If The City Cancels
- If the Cabalgata Anunciadora is cancelled by the authorities before departure, for any reason including safety, public order or weather, Club Canary refunds 80 percent. The remaining 20 percent covers bus, staff and payment costs already made.
- If the event is cancelled after arrival in Santa Cruz and the host decides to return early, 40 percent of the bus price is refunded.
- Rain and normal weather are not grounds for refunds. Only the authorities cancel.
- Changes to pick-up time, parking zone, walking route, parade timing or return slot made by the authorities or by traffic are part of Carnival and not grounds for refunds.
On The Bus And In Town
- Follow the host and the driver. Unsafe or disrespectful behaviour means removal without refund.
- No alcohol or illegal substances on the bus. Snacks are fine.
- If you skip the pick-up, leave early, stay in Santa Cruz, or miss the return bus, no partial refund applies. The bus cannot wait for late guests; a taxi back is at your own cost.
- Children from 5 to 11 travel at the child rate on the coach; under 5 cannot join this night. The minibus is adults only, 18 and over, with a driver and no host.
- Club Canary provides the transfer. Crowds, noise, weather and the parade itself are not ours to control and not grounds for refunds.
