Is Jungle Park Tenerife Worth It?

If you are a couple or adults after big shows and spectacle, you might prefer Loro Parque, which is more structured with a bigger wow factor, though it is a longer drive from the south. For most families in the south of Tenerife, Jungle Park is the right call.

Jungle Park is laid out in numbered animal zones you can wander between at your own pace, from birds of prey and big cats to primates, reptiles and aquatic animals. Just show your Club Canary ticket when boarding, there is no extra cost and no separate registration. Return buses leave Jungle Park at 16:15 and 17:30.

Jungle Park is not the most polished zoo you will ever visit. It is not super organised, it does not have the big-show energy of Loro Parque, and that is exactly why we like it. It is raw, it is fun, and it feels real. You can buy food and feed the animals yourself, hang out with the guinea pigs, and walk through areas that genuinely feel like a jungle. The kids go crazy for it.
And then there is the bridge over crocodile valley. Yes, that is a real thing. You stand on a wooden bridge looking straight down at crocodiles. Our team was there shaking the bridge and wondering why it felt so exciting. That is the Jungle Park vibe right there, a little wild, a little unexpected, and honestly pretty hard to forget.
