The Shogun Pirate Ship
The Shogun was originally built for an Arab sheikh and is an authentic replica of an Oriental sailing ship. Step aboard and it feels like sailing back in time, all timber, rigging and character. Docked at the far end of Puerto Colon, it holds up to 134 guests, which makes it one of the roomiest themed boats you can hire in Tenerife. There are sunbathing spots and shaded seating, a toilet and a room to change, so a big group has space to spread out and relax.

🧤 Good To Know Before You Sail
Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. To lower the chance of seasickness, do not board on an empty stomach or after drinking alcohol, and consider a travel-sickness tablet around 30 minutes before departure. You will be asked to take your shoes off on board, and they are stored safely until you return. Children under 11 must be with an adult, smoking is only at the back of the ship, and due to space the boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Meeting Point And Important Information
- Meeting point is Puerto Colon harbour, Gate 14.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.
- Your guide meets you in front of the gate and walks you to the Shogun.
- There is spacious parking in Puerto Colon, around 1.50€ per hour.
- Free round-trip transfer is available from set pickup points in South Tenerife. We send the pickup map and your time after booking.
- Bring your Club Canary ticket, on your phone or printed.
- Pack swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- There are sunbathing spots and shaded seating, a toilet and a changing room.
- You will be asked to take your shoes off, they are stored safely until you return to port.
- Smoking is only allowed at the back of the ship.

Pricing, Payment And Deposit
- The price depends on the month, duration and group size.
- Optional services such as food and drinks, music, decoration, pickup or custom routing can affect the final price.
- Prices shown online are indicative. Booking without confirming availability with Club Canary first may lead to a small adjustment.
- Charters are paid in full at booking. For dates far ahead, a deposit can secure the date with the balance paid later, ask us.
- All prices include IGIC, with no hidden costs.
Availability And Scheduling
- The Shogun also runs daily shared tours, so private charter dates are limited.
- The online agenda is not always up to date and often cannot show real-time availability.
- Book at least 30 days in advance, and more in high season.
- Always contact Club Canary first so we can confirm availability and hold your date.
Annulation et modifications
- Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 12 days before the charter. Send your request by email to office@clubcanary.com.
- Less than 12 days before departure, the charter is non-refundable.
- No-show without contacting us at least 12 hours before departure: non-refundable, and a 700€ penalty may apply.
- If you get sick or choose to end the trip early, no refund is due.
- If you arrive late, the lost time comes off your hired time. If the boat leaves late through no fault of yours, that time is added back.
- Coming with fewer or more people than booked? Contact us up to 12 hours before departure and we refund the difference or send a link for the extra guests.
Responsibility, Safety And Conduct
- The Shogun is operated by a licensed professional crew, and the captain has full authority at all times.
- Guests must behave respectfully. This is a themed boat that also runs family-friendly trips.
- If a group becomes uncontrollable, aggressive or unsafe, the captain can end the trip without a refund.
- La consommation de drogues à bord est strictement interdite. En cas de découverte ou de consommation de drogues, le capitaine peut interrompre le charter et contacter les autorités locales.
- Club Canary staff are not on board and cannot judge situations on the day, so raise anything with the crew at the time. Club Canary is not responsible for accidents, injuries or damages on board.

- The charter needs good weather. If the captain considers conditions unsafe, the trip may be cancelled or adjusted.
- If it is cancelled for weather, you are offered a new date or a full refund at no extra cost.
Food, Allergies And Customization
- Food, drinks, music, decoration, routes and schedules can all be customized, and must be approved in advance with Club Canary.
- Allergies and important food requests must be passed to us in your order note.
- After booking, we send a short questionnaire to align expectations and build the right program.
