We sell a lot of easy activities. This is not one of them, and we would rather tell you now than argue on the day. Mountain biking on La Palma means steep ground, loose volcanic rock, long descents and weather that changes with the altitude. The guides are excellent, the protection is included, and the risk is still real.

Visites guidées en VTT à La Palma
Three guided days, all 6 to 8 hours, all starting in Los Llanos de Aridane, all with a local guide, a bike in your size, full protection and the transfers needed for the route. The route on the day depends on conditions and on the group. Prices per person, per day, and the daily rate drops on multi-day riding holidays.

Une journée d’enduro assistée par un navetteur : 50 à 300 mètres de montée, 2 000 à 4 000 mètres de descente, généralement environ 3 000, avec un ou quatre transferts en navette. Terrains accidentés, marches, virages serrés. Flow privilégie les lignes plus droites lorsque cela est possible mais il y a aussi des sections S3. Le parc national n’est pas inclus.

- All guided tours start in Los Llanos de Aridane, on the west side of the island. The exact meeting point is on your e-ticket.
- Tours run 6 to 8 hours and go ahead on the days we confirm with the local team.

- Exact bike model and size depend on availability.

We do not risk your ship for it. They work if La Palma is the start or end of your cruise, if you stay a night, or as a private closed group when the ship's hours clearly allow; message us and we check.

Do I need to bring my own bike?
No. A bike in your size and full protection are included with the guided tour. Tell us your height and what you ride when you book so the right bike is ready for you.
Which tour is right for a beginner?
The Panorama tour, and ideally the E-Panorama on an electric bike so the climbs are easy. Both run on forest tracks and small roads with a guide who sets the pace.
What is the difference between Panorama and E-Panorama?
Same relaxed day, same kind of trails. The E-Panorama is on an electric full suspension bike, so you climb further and higher without suffering for it. The e-bike is included in the E-Panorama price.
Is Just Trails suitable for beginners?
No. It is a technical enduro day for experienced riders, with rough terrain, steps and long descents. The guide can refuse a rider who is not ready, so pick the Panorama if you are not sure.
Can cruise guests do a guided tour?
Not on a same-day port call. The tours start in Los Llanos on the other side of the island and run all day, so a delay could cost you the ship. They work if La Palma is the start or end of your cruise, if you stay a night, or as a private group when the hours clearly allow. Message us and we check.
Where do the tours start?
All guided tours start in Los Llanos de Aridane, on the west of the island. The exact meeting point is on your e-ticket. Transport to the start is not included.

The guide may change the route or the plan for safety, and an alternative is always offered. If a tour cannot run at all, you get a free reschedule or a full refund.

- Multi-day tours: the ladder applies to the whole booking, not per day. Days you cut short are not refunded.

- Les itinéraires dépendent des conditions météorologiques et de l'état de la piste. Le guide peut modifier l'itinéraire ou le programme de la journée pour assurer la sécurité, et une alternative est toujours proposée.

Sécurité, dommages et responsabilité
- Vous circulez à vos propres risques et dans les limites de votre niveau. Le guide peut refuser ou interrompre un trajet pour un conducteur qui ne se sent pas en sécurité, sans remboursement.
- Damage to the bike beyond normal wear, and loss or theft, are charged by the local team at the repair or replacement cost.

La Palma is the best island in the Canaries for mountain biking, and we will still be honest with you: this is not a relaxed downhill coast like our Tenerife tour. It is real riding on real trails, with local guides who know every line on the island. If you ride at home, you will love it. If you have never been on a mountain bike, the Panorama tour on an e-bike is the one, and the guide will take care of you.
Cruise guests, read the small print. A guided tour from the other side of the island is not a safe bet for a same-day call, and we will not sell it to you for one, because a flat tyre should never cost you a ship. Staying a night, or starting your cruise here? Then the trails are yours.
