- Marina del Sur, Las Galletas, in the south of Tenerife. Arrive at least 15 minuti before departure. The captain meets you at the gate and walks you to the yacht. Aprire in Google Maps.
- Your Club Canary ticket (on your phone or printed), swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- L'equipaggio parla English, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Slovak and a little German.
- Eat something before you board, avoid alcohol beforehand, and it is a good idea to take a travel sickness tablet about 30 minuti prima della partenza.
- You will be asked to take your shoes off, which are stored until you return to port. There is a toilet and a changing room. Smoking is allowed only at the back of the boat.

The Valkyrie is a proper private yacht day, and Las Galletas is a nice touch, it is quieter than the busier marinas like Puerto Colon, so it feels more relaxed from the moment you arrive. You get the whole boat, a good crew, real food and drinks, and the water toys to actually make use of the swim stops. For a couple, a family or a celebration, it is a lovely way to spend a day on the water.
Two honest tips. It is a private charter, so the price is for the whole yacht, best value when you fill the guest spots. And if you are prone to seasickness, take a tablet before you board and eat something first, it makes a real difference out on the open water.
