Club Canary Carriere

Lavori a Club Canary

Tenerife jobs at Club Canary work a little differently. We are a small team in Costa Adeje that people love booking with, and we protect that team like treasure. Here is the honest story of how someone joins it, and who we are looking for next.

📢 The Honest Truth: One New Team Member In 2027, Almost Certainly An Intern

Most careers pages would never open like this, but honesty is the whole brand. Club Canary almost never hires someone who did not first intern with us. In 2027 we plan to grow the team by one person, and the door for that is the internship.

Why? Because before we invest in someone long term, we need to know how they work, how they treat clients, how they treat the team, and whether they really fit. Our interns prove all of that in real life, not in an interview. When an intern is great, offering them a job is the easiest decision we make all year.

🌴 La Vera Porta: Il Nostro Tirocinio a Tenerife

The Job Itself: What You Would Actually Do

Not a desk job with a sea view. A people job with a sea view. This is the work, every day, in two languages.

Confirm And Protect Bookings

Every booking gets checked, confirmed with the operator, and watched until the guest is on the boat or in the jeep. Weather changes, times move, families forget a child's age. You keep it all tidy and the guest never feels the chaos.

Upsell Like A Local Friend

A couple books a boat trip and you know the sunset slot is better for them. A family books one day and you show them the week. Honest upsells that make the holiday better, not pushy ones. Our guests feel the difference, and so does the turnover.

Plan The Big Ones

Events, team building days, stag and hen weekends, company trips, private boat days for twenty people. The bookings with many moving parts and many messages. If a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group make you calm instead of nervous, this is your corner.

Be Fun, For Real

With guests on the phone, in the office, and with the team at lunch. Tourism is a mood business. The people who do well here lift the energy in the room, they do not drain it.

Think Outside The Box In The AI Age

Our tools handle the fast and boring parts. The job is the extra thing a machine cannot do: a creative idea for a client, a better way to solve a problem, a surprise that makes a birthday legendary. Creativity is the skill that keeps a human valuable now.

Live Here, Know Here

You know which beach is calm in a north wind, which restaurant to send a family of six to, and what a guest means when they say Las Américas but mean Los Cristianos. That only comes from living on the island, not from a flight in for the job.

Su cosa reclutiamo concretamente

Skills can be taught. Attitude cannot. You will need to learn our tools fast, sure. But the thing we really hunt for is much rarer.

Fai Ridere la Gente

Not many people can make others smile on command. A stressed client, a tired colleague, a confused caller. If you can lighten a moment without crossing a line, you have the rarest skill in tourism.

Prima l'Umano, Sempre

Technology handles the fast stuff so our people can handle the special stuff. Marriage proposals, surprise birthdays, a nervous first time boat guest. Machines do not do magic moments. Humans do.

Team Energia

Boat days, team dinners, bowling nights, carnival weeks. We work hard and we really like each other. Protecting that vibe matters more to us than any CV line.

Long Term Mindset

People who want one or two years of experience and then move on are completely normal, just not our match. The learning curve here is long and we build with people who want to build with us.

Diretto e Onesto

If something is wrong, you say it. If something is great, you say it too. No politics, no passive attitude, and never a half truth to a client. It keeps the team fast and the trust high.

Orgoglioso del mestiere

Ogni prenotazione, ogni messaggio, ogni viaggio porta il nostro nome. Le persone che prosperano qui si divertono a fare le cose per bene. Live Legendary è un'abitudine, non uno slogan.

Where it all happens. Il nostro ufficio a Costa Adeje, a tre minuti da Playa del Duque. Sì, questa è la vista che abbiamo ogni giorno.

The Culture, So You Can Check Yourself

We are a young team at heart, and the plan for the new office is simple: two team moments a week. Pizza night on Friday with board games for whoever wants to stay, and a Club Canary day out where we try our own excursions, because you cannot sell a jet ski safari you have never done. Add bowling, team dinners and a carnival week, and you have the picture. If that sounds like your kind of week, keep reading. If it sounds exhausting, that is useful to know too, and no hard feelings.

Dove Sta Andando Club Canary

Our goal is ambitious and simple: to be the company people love booking with because they love the team behind it. Anyone can list activities online. Almost nobody can make a guest laugh on WhatsApp at 21:45, remember their kid's name, and quietly fix a problem before the guest notices it existed. That is the company we are building, across the Canary Islands. And that is exactly why we are so picky about who joins.

Il Percorso: Stagista Prima, Membro del Team Poi

Almost everyone on our team today started as an intern. It is not a trick, it is the system, and it works for both sides.

1

Fai lo stage

Active university students join us in Costa Adeje for Tourism, Marketing, or ICT. Real clients, real bookings, real island life. You do not need fluent Spanish to start as an intern: good English, the will to learn Spanish here, and every extra language helps. Everything else is on the Pagina stage Tenerife, comprese le parti oneste.

2

Mostra Chi Sei

The Direct Route: Rare, And Part Time First

A

A Track Record That Makes Us Stop Scrolling

No internship, no problem, if you already proved it somewhere else in tourism, hospitality or sales. Not a nice CV, a real record: results, references we can call, and a reason you are in Tenerife for good.

B

We Start Part Time

Even then, we begin with a part time period on both sides. We want to see the real you: how reliable you are, how you talk to a guest when nobody is watching, whether your energy lifts the team or weighs on it, and whether every word to a client is true. You get to see if we are what the page promised.

C

Then We Talk Long Term

If the match is real, the full role follows. If it is not, we say so early, honestly and kindly, and you have lost nothing but a few afternoons.

✋ Please Read This Before You Apply

We say this with all due respect. Most applications we get have not read this page, and that costs both of us time. So here is the filter, in plain words.

  • A season is a no. A winter in Tenerife between two summers somewhere else, a few months in the off season, a gap year with a tan. We get these every week, and the answer is always the same. We only hire people who want years, not months.
  • Two years is the minimum mindset. The learning curve here is long. Someone who leaves inside two years costs us more than they bring, that is just the honest maths. So we look for people who already live in Tenerife, know the island, and see their future here, not people who come for the job and leave at the first problem back home.
  • For a job: Spanish and English, both fluent, or no reply. Our guests and our partners need both, every day. A job application without them, or without any tourism background, will not get an answer, and we would rather tell you here than leave you waiting. Interns are different: good English and the will to learn Spanish is enough, and the more languages you bring, the better.
  • Asking for a full time job straight away tells us you skipped the part above. Intern first, or part time first. There is no third door.
  • Tech savvy is not optional. Booking systems, WhatsApp at speed, AI tools, spreadsheets, a new app every month. You do not need to be a developer, you need to be the person who figures it out before lunch.
  • You fit a young, active team. Pizza nights, bowling, trying the excursions, the group chat that never sleeps. We are not a quiet office and we are not going to pretend to be one.
The small test. If you read this far and still want in, put the word LEGGENDARIO as the first word of your email subject. Applications without it are not read. Simple, fair, and it already tells us something about you.
So, the exception? Send your CV, a short motivation, and a short intro video to jobs@clubcanary.com, with the subject line done right. We reply honestly to every application that passed the filter, but we will be straight with you: the chance is very low. If that sentence does not scare you, maybe you really are the type.

Jobs At Club Canary: Quick Honest Answers

The four questions we get most, answered the way we would answer across the desk.

Does Club Canary have open jobs in Tenerife?

Almost everyone on the team started as an intern, and that is still the door. We plan to add one new team member and the realistic way in is the Tenerife internship. Direct hires are rare and only happen with a proven track record, and even then we start part time.

What languages do I need to work at Club Canary?

For a job: fluent Spanish and fluent English, both, every day. Our guests come from all over Europe and our partners are Canarian, so one language is not enough, and a job application without both will not get a reply. For the internship it is different: good English and the will to learn Spanish here is enough. German, French, Italian or Dutch on top is a real plus in both cases.

Can I work at Club Canary for one season?

No. We only hire people who want to stay for years, not months. The learning curve is long and someone who leaves early costs the team more than they bring. We look for people who already live in Tenerife, know the island and see their future here.

Can I get a job at Club Canary without doing the internship first?

Only if you already proved yourself somewhere else in tourism, hospitality or sales, with results and references we can check. Even then we begin with a part time period on both sides, to see how you work with guests and with the team before we talk about a full role. Put the word LEGENDARY first in your email subject, it shows you read the page.
