Club Canary partners with Momo Surf School, a trusted surf school located in Caleta de Famara, one of the top surfing spots in Lanzarote, located along the north Coast. This school focuses on wave surfing and is known for its experienced instructors and friendly atmosphere.
The instructors are highly skilled and speak Spanish, English, and French, making sure every guest feels confident and included. With small group sizes of up to 7 people per instructor, you’ll get plenty of personal attention and a safe environment to learn and grow. - Don’t forget to bring your Club Canary ticket, either printed or on your phone.
- After your first lesson, you’ll have the option to book more classes directly with Momo Surf School.
- We do our best to place you in a group with people of similar age and skill level, although it’s not always guaranteed.
- The average group size is around 7 people per instructor.
- The remainder of the amount can be payed in cash or bank transfer / Bizum, as there is no card reader available on-site.
- Don’t forget to pack your swimwear, towel, and sunscreen.
- Try to eat something light before the lesson, and avoid alcohol before surfing.
- Children under 16 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- Instructors at Momo Surf School speak Spanish, English, and French to make sure everyone feels welcome.
Surf School Location: Caleta de Famara
- Meeting point: Av. las Bajas, 103, 35558 Caleta de Famara, Las Palmas.
- You should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your lesson.
- There are a few parking options nearby. However, as it is a busy area, we therefore recommend arriving early to find a space, or take a taxi.

Cancellation Policy
- To join the lesson, you should know how to swim and have a basic level of fitness.
- We do our best to place you with people of a similar age and level, but perfect matching cannot always be guaranteed.
- Private lessons are available from age 8 and up. Group lessons are available for participants aged 13 and above. For any exceptions or special requests, feel free to contact us.
- Surfing depends on weather conditions. If the lesson is cancelled due to dangerous weather, we’ll offer a new date or a full refund.
- A minimum of 2 participants is required for the lesson to take place. If the class is cancelled due to low numbers, you’ll be offered an alternative date or full refund of your deposut.
- You may cancel or reschedule for free up to 48 hours before the lesson. Please email your request to: office@clubcanary.com
- If you cancel too late or arrive too late, there will be no refund, unless Momo Surf School offers an alternative.
- Any complaints or feedback about the lesson must be discussed directly with Momo Surf School, as Club Canary staff is not present during the activity.
- If you become ill, feel uncomfortable, or decide to stop mid-lesson, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
- After your class, Momo Surf School may offer extra lessons or equipment rental. These are handled directly through the surf school, so Club Canary customer service cannot assist with these new arrangements.
