Lanzarote Paragliding, How Does It Work?

1. Book your Lanzarote paragliding date: Begin by booking your desired date for the paragliding experience through Club Canary. Our team will confirm your booking, or if you book within 5 days, please contact Club Canary via live chat to check availability and weather conditions.
2. Confirmation and meeting point: Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive detailed information about the meeting point. The specific location will be determined based on the prevailing wind conditions on the day of your flight.
3. Meeting your instructor and preparation: When you arrive at the designated meeting point, you will meet your experienced paragliding instructor. They will guide you to the takeoff location, where you will be prepared for the flight.
4. Paragliding flight: After the necessary preparations, your exciting paragliding flight will commence. Prepare to spend approximately 14 minutes in the air, where you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Lanzarote’s landscapes.
5. Landing location: Following your exhilarating flight, your instructor will guide you to the landing location, typically situated near the takeoff point.
6. Conclusion of the experience: Bid farewell to your paragliding instructor and, if you wish, make your way back to your accommodation. If you traveled by car, rest assured that convenient parking options will be available near the landing location. Alternatively, if you require a taxi, your paragliding guide will be happy to arrange one for you. Or if you booked the Lanzarote paragliding flight including transfer the guide will bring you back to your hotel.

Transfer Service

At Club Canary, we provide convenient pick-up services for your paragliding experience in Lanzarote. Here’s what you need to know:

Pick-up Locations And Fees:

• Costa Teguise: Additional fee of 30€
• Puerto del Carmen: Additional fee of 40€
• Playa Blanca (south of the island): Additional fee of 60€
• If you do not have a car and do not want pick-up service you can come by bus. The paragliding guide can pick you up for free at the bus stop near the meeting location in Costa Teguise or Puerto del Carmen and drop you off here after the paragliding flight.

• Prices mentioned are per group, accommodating up to 4 people.

1. Remember to bring your Club Canary ticket. You can have it on your phone or printed out.
2. Ensure you have some cash or card payment options available as the final payment for the paragliding experience will be collected before it starts.
3. Paragliding trips in Lanzarote are suitable for almost everyone, from 8 to 80 years old. No previous experience is necessary.
4. The weight limit for paragliding in Lanzarote ranges from 40 kg to 120 kg. If you are near the limit or have any doubts, please contact us for further clarification.
5. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes during your paragliding adventure. In case of colder weather, you can borrow a jacket from the paragliding guide.
6. Once you have made your booking, you will receive information about the meeting location for your Lanzarote paragliding experience. Please note that you are responsible for arranging your transportation to the start location.

Policy

1. Weather Dependency

• Paragliding is weather-dependent. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the flight may be canceled for your safety. If this happens, clients have three options: Reschedule: Choose an alternative date, even up to next year. Gift Voucher: Receive a gift voucher for the amount paid. Partial Refund: If the first two options are not suitable, receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
• We can no longer offer a full refund due to high administrative costs, as tickets are often already registered in our paperwork.

2. Health Considerations

• If you have any pre-existing health conditions or are currently taking medications, it is highly recommended to consult with your doctor before booking a paragliding experience to ensure it is suitable for you.

3. Children

• Participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult or provide a permission slip from their parents or legal guardians.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• You can cancel or reschedule your paragliding trip free of charge up to 4 days in advance. To request a cancellation or rescheduling, please send an email to office@clubcanary.com.
• If you cancel between 48 hours and 95 hours before the meeting time, you can get a 50% refund of your paid amount.
• If you fail to cancel or arrive on time for the scheduled excursion, no refund will be provided. Additionally, there will be a penalty of 40€ per person to partially cover the lost bookings, as the deposit does not account for this circumstance.

5. Complaints and Issues

• During your paragliding experience, Club Canary staff will not be present. If you have any concerns or if anything does not go as planned, please address them directly with the paragliding guide on the day of the activity.
