You start with a short test drive in the base car park, and once you feel confident the guide leads the whole route at a relaxed pace, so you can focus on the road and the scenery instead of the map.

You drive your own trike, but this is a guided convoy, not an independent hire. A local guide leads the route, sets a safe pace and handles the navigation, which keeps the group together and takes the stress out of finding your way. Who Can Drive And Ride
🚗 The Driver
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have held a valid car driving licence for at least 2 years, and bring the original on the day.
- Should be comfortable with a manual gearbox, the trike is manual.

- Up to 2 passengers per trike (3 people total including the driver).
- Children can join as passengers from age 7, please confirm your group when booking.
- Everyone follows the guide's safety instructions throughout.
Meeting Point & Hotel Pickup
- Carretera Arrecife / LZ-2, km 17, Yaiza. Open in Google Maps. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time (09:30 or 13:15).
- Round-trip pickup and drop-off from Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero for 5€ per person, paid on arrival. Add your hotel name when booking, and the exact pickup point and time are confirmed afterwards.
- Prefer to make your own way? Just come to the meeting point near Yaiza 15 minutes early, with free parking on site.

Where does the Lanzarote trike tour start and is hotel transfer available?
The main meeting point is on the LZ-2 near Yaiza. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Round-trip hotel transfer is available from selected areas for 5€ per person, paid on arrival. The exact pickup point and time are confirmed after booking.
Booking And Cancellation Policy
Deposit & Payment
- You reserve with a 30€ deposit per trike, which counts toward your total. The balance is paid on the day at the base, cash or card. The pickup supplement of 5€ per person is also paid on arrival.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 trikes: cancel or reschedule for free up to 48 hours before the tour.
- 4 or more trikes: free up to 96 hours (4 days) before, because a bigger group is harder to refill.
- Cancellations go by email to office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- Between 24 and 48 hours before: you lose the full deposit. You pay nothing more.
- Between 12 and 24 hours before: you lose the full deposit, plus a fee of 60€ per booked trike. We send a payment link.
- Less than 12 hours before, a no-show, or arriving too late: you lose the full deposit and still pay 90% of the arrival balance. We send a payment link.
- The trike and guide are reserved and paid for your group either way, so the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
No Excuses, With One Exception
- Traffic, an accident on the way, a missed pickup or simply running late are your own responsibility. No refund is given for these.
- The only exception is a genuine doctor or hospital letter, dated the same day, stating that the person cannot take part in the activity. It only covers that one person, not the whole group.
Driving Requirements & Weather
- The driver must bring the original licence and be 21+ with a licence held at least 2 years. No alcohol or drugs before driving.
- If the operator cancels for unsafe weather, you get a new date or a full refund. You never lose money when the operator cancels. Times and dates follow the live calendar and minimum participation, so we confirm final details after booking.
