What Is A Polaris Slingshot?
A Polaris Slingshot is a low, open-air roadster with three wheels and two seats side by side. It has a steering wheel, seat belts and normal car-style controls, so it drives much more like a car than a motorbike, you sit in it rather than on it. Being open-topped and close to the road, it feels sporty and gives you a real sense of the scenery, wind and sound as you go. It is not a motorbike, and it is not a race car, it is a fun, unusual way to enjoy a scenic drive.

🚗 The Driver
- Needs a valid full car driving licence, not a motorcycle licence.
- Must be 21 or older and have held the licence for at least 2 years.
- Must bring the original licence on the day. No licence means no driving.
👥 The Passenger & Comfort
- One passenger rides alongside the driver (two people per Slingshot).
- The seats are low to the ground, which may not suit guests with limited mobility, back problems or during pregnancy. Height and weight limits may apply.
- If both of you want to take turns driving, ask us first, both must meet the driver rules and the operator must allow it.

Meeting Point & Hotel Transfer

No. This is a guided scenic driving tour on public roads. You follow the guide in a convoy and obey normal traffic and safety rules. It focuses on the unusual vehicle, the volcanic scenery and photo stops, not racing or off-road driving.
Booking And Cancellation Policy
Driver & Licence
- The driver must bring an original valid car licence (not a motorcycle one) and meet the age and experience rules. No valid licence means no driving and no refund.
Deposit & Payment
- You reserve with a deposit per Slingshot, which counts toward your total. The balance is paid on the day at the base, cash or card. The 5€ per person transfer is also paid on arrival.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 cars: cancel or reschedule for free up to 48 hours before the tour.
- 4 or more cars: free up to 96 hours (4 days) before, because a bigger group is harder to refill.
- Cancellations go by email to office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- Between 24 and 48 hours before: you lose the full deposit. You pay nothing more.
- Between 12 and 24 hours before: you lose the full deposit, plus a fee of 60€ per booked car. We send a payment link.
- Less than 12 hours before, a no-show, or arriving too late: you lose the full deposit and still pay 90% of the arrival balance. We send a payment link.
- The car and guide are reserved and paid for your group either way, so the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
No Excuses, With One Exception
- Traffic, an accident on the way, a missed transfer or simply running late are your own responsibility. No refund is given for these.
- The only exception is a genuine doctor or hospital letter, dated the same day, stating that the person cannot take part. It only covers that one person, not the whole group.
Safe Conduct & Weather
- Drive responsibly and follow the guide and all traffic rules. No alcohol or drugs before or during the tour. If the operator cancels for unsafe weather, you get a new date or a full refund. You never lose money when the operator cancels.
