Deposit
This is the amount you pay to reserve the date. The deposit, in this case, is a portion of the total amount to be paid and therefore will not be returned after the activity.
Arrival
The remaining amount to be paid is noted as Arrival. You will pay this on the day of your booked experience upon check-in at the Marina Rubicón. This can be done in cash or via card unless your ticket states otherwise.
Your paid down payment, and the amount to be paid on arriving, will be listed on your E-ticket that you will receive after you place your order.

Boat Hire Playa Blanca Lanzarote Information
- Have Your Ticket Ready: Keep your Club Canary ticket available on your phone or as a printout.
- Payment: Finalize your payment in cash or card before we set sail.
- Your Captain: Ensure your captain is at least 18 years old. They’ll need a valid ID, passport, and boat license for the voyage.
- Pack Essentials: Remember to bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. While we don’t supply food or drinks, we’ve got storage and a fridge on board. Just bring your ice, snacks, and beverages.
- 300€ Deposit: A safety deposit of 300€ is collected when you board, which also goes towards fuel costs. After the boat is checked and fuel restored, the deposit (or any remaining amount) will be returned to you, typically within 24 hours.
- Keep Seasickness at Bay: To reduce the chances of seasickness, have a meal beforehand and skip the alcohol. Consider taking a travel sickness tablet 30 minutes before boarding.
- Boat Features: Our boat has both sunny spots for tanning and shaded areas to relax.
- Meeting Up: We’re at De Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Open Location on Google Maps.
- Be Punctual: Arrive at least 15 minutes before we’re set to depart.

Boat Hire Lanzarote Playa Blanca Policy
- Weather Dependency: This experience requires favorable weather. If cancelled due to poor conditions, you’ll be offered an alternate date or a full refund. The owner of the boat only can decide this.
- Early Termination: If you choose to end the trip early or if you get sick, no refunds will be issued.
- Security deposit: You will give a security deposit of 300€ for the boat, that is refunded 24 hours after you return.
- Certification: The captain must provide an ID/Passport and the necessary certification to operate the vessel. Foreign certifications are valid if they’re recognized on the country approval lists.
- Food & Drinks: Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Just remember, the captain can’t drink alcohol. If there’s a fine for breaking this rule, it’s on you. We won’t cover the cost.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
- 4 days prior: Free cancellation or rescheduling. Please email your request to office@clubcanary.com.
- Between 48 and 96 hours: 40% of your deposit is refundable.
- Between 24 and 48 hours: No refund will be issued.
- Less than 24 hours or No Shows: An additional fine of 100€ per booked hour will be imposed, as the deposit does not cover the losses incurred.
Respect for Marine Life:
When booking with us, you confirm that you’ve read and agreed to respect the marine life. Although there’s no captain to supervise, it is strictly forbidden to swim with or get close to whales or dolphins. Any fines by the coast guard for disturbing nature are solely your responsibility.

While gas ain’t included, don’t sweat it! Lanzarote’s known for its wallet-friendly gasoline prices. Board with a 300€ safety deposit and when it’s wrap-up time, we’ll calculate the fuel cost, settle up, and refund the rest within 24 hours. On average? Expect around 20€ per hour fuel charges for chill cruising. But if you’re feeling fast & furious, fuel costs might bump up a bit.
