No, there are no toilet stops during the transfers, and there are no facilities at the stargazing spot, as it is a natural viewpoint high in Teide National Park. Please use the toilet before you set off. If you are pregnant or think you may need a stop, the self-drive option gives you more freedom, since you drive your own car and can plan around it.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks for the evening. A glass of sparkling wine at sunset is included, but there is no full meal, so if you would like something to eat during the night, just pack it. It is a nice idea for the colder, later part of the evening. Please take any rubbish back down with you, as the national park is a protected area.

High in Teide National Park, at around 2,000 meters, above most of the clouds and away from the coastal lights. The park holds an official Starlight certification for its dark sky. On the VIP tour we pick you up at your hotel. On the self-drive tour the meeting point is normally Mirador de los Poleos, but it can move with the weather and the cloud level, so the guides send the exact spot and time by WhatsApp on the day. Hotel pickup and drop-off covers the south coast between El Médano and Los Gigantes, so Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos, Puerto Colón, Playa Paraiso, Callao Salvaje and Puerto de Santiago are all fine. Pickup is not available in Costa del Silencio, Las Galletas or Palm Mar. Pickup is timed to the sunset, so it changes through the year, currently it is roughly between 18:00 and 19:00, and your exact time is confirmed with your booking. Yes, families come along all the time. On the VIP tour children 5+ pay the adult price and infants under 5 are free only if you bring your own car seat. On the self-drive tour children aged 4 to 12 pay 25€ and under 4 go free. Keep in mind it gets cold at altitude and the night ends late, so families with small children often prefer the self-drive option, because you can head home whenever you are ready.

Wat mee te nemen: A warm jacket and closed shoes are the main thing, it gets cold at altitude even in summer. Bring your ticket, contant geld for the balance, and any snacks or drinks you want. Keep your phone active so the guides can reach you.

The guides check the conditions before every trip. If clouds or a calima dust episode roll in and the night is not safe or worthwhile, you reschedule or get a full refund of your deposit, your choice. We let you know in good time. For groups of more than 4 people the free window is 4 days before. After that deadline, if you cancel late, do not show up, or arrive too late for pickup, the deposit is lost and the full balance is still due, because the guides and transport are reserved and paid for your places either way. The only exception is an official doctor or hospital certificate dated before the tour. Private tours are arranged on request, so if a private date turns out to be unavailable you always get a full refund or a new date.
