What To Wear, Honest Advice

The single thing that changes how a set of photos looks, and it costs nothing to get right.

Coordinate, do not match. Agree a rough palette with the others in the shoot rather than everyone wearing identical outfits.

White works. It is a popular choice for a reason: it reads well against sand, sea and dark volcanic rock, and it keeps the focus on faces.

Bring options. If you cannot decide, bring two or three and change during the session. It costs nothing and gives you variety in the final set.

Think about the ground. Dunes and volcanic terrain mean sand and dust. Long trailing hems look great and get filthy, so plan accordingly.

Everything you need before your photo session in Fuerteventura.

Meeting Point, North Zone: Dunas de Corralejo, Playa del Moro, Piedra Playa in Cotillo, or Popcorn Beach in Corralejo.

Meeting Point, South Zone: Playa de Sotavento or Playa del Matorral in Morro Jable.

Volcano Option: Calderón Hondo, for a volcanic backdrop instead of a beach.

Choosing Your Spot: after booking the photographer contacts you to agree the exact meeting point, normally the location closest to where you are staying. If you want a particular spot, put it in your order notes.

Photoshoot Booking Policy

Thank you for booking your photo session with Club Canary. A booking reserves a photographer's time for your slot alone, which is why the terms firm up close to the date. Please read them before you book.

Between 24 and 48 hours before: 35% is refunded.
Less than 24 hours before, or a no-show: the payment is lost and a 100€ penalty applies.

By booking with us you accept these terms. The 100€ late-cancellation penalty exists because the photographer has already blocked the slot and turned other bookings away. Pick a date you are confident about and none of it ever applies.

Real talk: 250€ looks like a lot until you divide it. Fifty to sixty individually edited photos works out around 4.50€ each, and you get the full-resolution files to do whatever you like with. Buy five images from a resort photographer and you will have spent similar money for a fraction of the set.

The thing we would actually push you on is the location. Most people default to a beach, which is lovely, but Popcorn Beach ja Calderón Hondo volcano give you photos that do not look like everyone else's holiday. Ask for either in your order notes when you book, because the photographer will otherwise suggest whatever is nearest your hotel.

One honest warning: cancelling inside 24 hours costs you the payment plus a 100€ penalty. That is steep, and it is because the photographer has blocked the slot and turned other work away. Pick a date you are sure about.
