Private Charter Policy
Thank you for booking your private Opera 60 charter with Club Canary. A private charter reserves an entire boat and crew for your group, so these terms are a little stronger than on shared trips. Please read them before you book.
Booking And Confirmation
Your deposit reserves the requested booking, and the remaining balance is payable before boarding or as instructed. The charter is not finally confirmed until Club Canary or the operator confirms availability. Extended 7 to 9 hour charters always require operator approval. Requested routes, departure times and extras are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
Annulation
Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 10 days before departure, by email to office@clubcanary.com.
Cancellations after that point lose the deposit.
No-shows lose the deposit and may be responsible for additional contracted charges where applicable.
Arrivée tardive
Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Time lost to guest lateness is deducted from the charter and the boat is not required to extend the trip. If the departure is delayed by the operator, the lost time is restored where operationally possible.
Météo
If the charter is cancelled for unsafe weather or sea conditions, you choose between rescheduling or a full refund. Normal wind, clouds, waves or personal preference do not qualify as unsafe-weather cancellation. Routes and swim stops may change due to conditions.
Early Return And Sightings
Seasickness, illness, changed plans or choosing to return early do not qualify for a refund. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, and a trip without sightings does not qualify for a refund.
Food, Drinks And Allergies
The standard onboard package is included, and menus and brands can vary. Allergies must be written in the booking notes before confirmation. Special diets and drink requests are passed on as requests and remain subject to availability, and preparation free of cross-contamination cannot be promised unless specifically confirmed. Guests needing extensive custom catering should consider another charter such as the No Worries yacht.

Intoxicated or unsafe guests may be refused boarding without refund. Guests must follow crew safety instructions at all times. Damage caused by guests may be charged. Smoking is only permitted in the area approved by the crew, and illegal substances and unsafe behaviour are prohibited.

Operational issues must first be reported to the crew while on board, so they can be addressed on the spot. Club Canary staff are not physically present on the boat and can assist afterwards, but cannot accurately resolve unreported onboard issues based only on later claims.
