Car seats and pickups

Tour minibuses do not carry child seats. Under Spanish law a child under 1.35 m needs one in a taxi too. For small kids, book the activities with a meeting point you can walk to, or ask us for a private transfer with seats.

Mornings for the sea, afternoons for parks

Boats and water sports are calmest before noon. Siam Park and Aqualand queues are shortest after 15:00. Teide is 10 to 15 degrees colder than the coast, bring a jumper for the kids even in August.

Toilets on boats

The big catamarans and the glass bottom boat have toilets and shade. The small sailing boats have one toilet and a lot of sun. With a toddler, pick the big boat and sit at the back.

Book the parks before you fly

Siam Park and Loro Parque sell out in school holidays and the dvojitá vstupenka saves money and a queue. Tickets are the same price as the gate, the difference is the local team on WhatsApp when something goes wrong.

The honest cheap plan

Banana farm, Peter Pan boat, Viking boat, mini golf and the Teide half day bus. Five mornings, under 130 euro for an adult, the kids mostly free or half. Nobody needs the helicopter.
