These are the terms and conditions of Club Canary, the trusted local tour platform operating across Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, and La Gomera. Club Canary is a trade name administered by Schijvens Group SL, registered in the Canary Islands, Spain. Please read these terms carefully before booking. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted everything written here.
The advantages, guarantees, and responsibilities we take on as your tour platform across the six Canary Islands.
Lead Booking Name.
Whether you book alone or as a group, Club Canary deals only with the lead booking name for all correspondence, changes, amendments, and cancellations. You must be 18 years old at the time of booking and have the legal authority to book on behalf of everyone in your party.
Your Responsibility For Information.
You are responsible for the accuracy of personal details and any information provided about yourself and other travelers on the booking. You must pass on all relevant information to everyone joining the activity. This includes schedule changes, meeting points, and booking confirmations.
Supplier Terms And Safety.
You agree that you and your party accept the supplier's terms, health and safety instructions, and any restrictions linked to the activity. It is your responsibility to declare any health problems, medical conditions, or mobility issues that may prevent participation or create risk.
Activity Restrictions.
Some activities have restrictions based on age, weight, height, or health. Please respect them, they exist for safety. If an activity does not say it is suitable for less mobile people, it is not. Group sizes can range from 1 to 150 participants depending on the activity.
Insurance Recommendation.
Club Canary strongly recommends valid travel insurance for all members of your party, including children and infants. Declare any medical conditions to your insurer, as failure to do so can reduce or void a claim.
Minors.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the activity. Certain activities may allow minors with written parent permission, subject to the operating partner's policy.
Confirmation.
Confirmation of your Club Canary booking is provided as a digital or printed ticket, or emailed to the address you provide. If you do not receive your confirmation, contact us immediately. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Ochrana osobných údajov.
All Club Canary excursions across the Canary Islands are covered by our Best Price Guarantee. This means you will not find the same experience for a lower price elsewhere under the same conditions. If you do, we will refund the difference.

Prices on clubcanary.com are accurate at the time of publication. Club Canary reserves the right to update prices when needed. The final price you pay is the one confirmed at the moment of booking.

Transaction Costs On Large Bookings.
Most Club Canary website bookings do not include transaction fees in addition to the displayed price. For very large bookings, corporate outings, multi-activity packages, or custom contracts processed outside the website, Club Canary may add transaction costs depending on the payment method and total amount. This is always explained in writing before payment.
Prices shared by Club Canary via telephone, WhatsApp, live chat, or social media are for guidance only and never final. Verbal or informal price indications cannot be used as statements or promises against Club Canary. The only legally binding prices are those shown on clubcanary.com or confirmed in writing by email. To avoid misunderstandings, please always check the website or request written confirmation by email before booking.
We hope to never need to change your activity. Sometimes Club Canary needs to make changes. We will let you know about important changes at the time of booking, or as soon as possible if your booking is already confirmed.
Activity timings shown on the website may change. Your confirmation ticket shows the latest planned timings. The final timings come from a Club Canary worker or your official ticket, which you should check carefully on receipt.
Club Canary always aims to deliver your activity as booked. In rare cases such as insufficient bookings or operational reasons, we may need to cancel. If Club Canary cancels your activity, you can choose between the following.
If you accept an alternative, the same terms and conditions apply to your new booking. If the replacement is of a lower price, we refund the difference.
Major Changes To Confirmed Bookings.
Sometimes Club Canary must make significant changes after a booking is confirmed, due to weather, partner issues, or other factors outside our control. When that happens, you have the following options.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control.
Club Canary is not liable for disruptions or cancellations caused by events beyond our control. These include but are not limited to war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fires, severe weather conditions, epidemics, pandemics, and unavoidable technical problems with transport infrastructure such as closed airports or ports.
While these events do not generally entitle customers to a refund, Club Canary reviews each situation case by case and may offer refunds or alternative compensation where reasonable. Neither Club Canary nor Schijvens Group SL is obligated to refund in extreme situations, as these should normally be covered by travel insurance.
Club Canary coordinates the services that make up your booked activity. The services are delivered by independent local operators that we have selected, vetted, and contracted with. Club Canary is committed to ensuring each component meets a reasonable standard matching our description.
While we select operators known for reliability and compliance with local Canary Islands standards, Club Canary cannot be held liable for unforeseen failures on the operator's side. If you are unhappy with the quality of a service, please bring it to our attention promptly so we can address it under these terms.
Bookings that follow their own rules. The Canary Club members, private jets, corporate outings, film production, group bookings, special events, packages, and ID-required activities.
Členovia Kanársky Klub, the private luxury concierge service of Club Canary, agree to additional terms specific to their membership.
Booking Rules Still Apply.
Each booking made through The Canary Club still follows the cancellation and conduct rules of the specific activity, venue, or operator. Membership does not waive standard policies.
Members Area Access.
The private members area is protected by password. Members agree not to share their password, screenshots, or access details with anyone outside their immediate party. Sharing access publicly or with third parties may result in immediate membership termination.
Preferences Profile.
By joining The Canary Club, you authorize Club Canary to store your stated preferences such as allergies, drinks, dietary needs, and favorites in a secure internal folder restricted to senior team members. You can request deletion or update of this information any time.
Reputation And Conduct.
When Club Canary arranges restaurant tables, nightclub access, beach club entry, or private venues on a member's behalf, we put our reputation behind it. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows at member-arranged venues may result in membership review or revocation.
Contact Hours.
Members can contact Club Canary every day between 08:00 and 22:00 Canary Islands time. We respect privacy and do not send unsolicited promotional messages.
Private jet charters arranged through Club Canary's private jet service are always covered by a separate signed contract. Aviation operators have their own strict cancellation conditions, which Club Canary passes through to you in writing before payment.
Club Canary focuses on private jet routes to and from the Canary Islands. We do not operate or own aircraft. We coordinate the booking with licensed aviation operators. By signing the charter contract, you accept the operator's terms in full.
Full payment is normally required upfront for private jet charters. Cancellation refunds depend entirely on the operator's policy and the time before the scheduled flight. Travel insurance covering private aviation is strongly recommended.
Custom outings for corporate clients, film and streaming productions, and team building events are handled through bespoke agreements over email or signed short contracts. Each project has its own deposit, cancellation deadline, payment schedule, and refund options agreed before work begins.

Small Groups Of 2 To 6 People.

Mid-Size Groups Of 7 To 15 People.
Many activities have separate cancellation policies for groups of 7 or more. Operators often cannot resell those spots in time if you cancel late. Stricter deadlines and partial refunds may apply. These rules are listed on the booking page when relevant.
Large Groups Of 15 Or More People.
Groups of 15 or more are handled through bespoke agreements or short contracts. The general terms on this page apply as a baseline, but specific group terms in your written agreement always take priority.
Events with limited capacity, intense preparation, and one-off scheduling have stricter cancellation conditions. Examples include Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, New Year's Eve programs, Christmas events, the Pope's visit in 2026, special multi-day festivals, and similar one-off occasions.
Refunds for these events are usually partial, not full, even when cancellations happen before the standard free cancellation deadline. Specific conditions are clearly displayed on each event's booking page. By booking a special event, you confirm you have read and accepted those conditions.
Since summer 2026, Club Canary actively offers multi-activity packages that combine cool experiences at a bundle price. Examples include a week-long surf course package, a couples itinerary package combining jet ski, quad, and dinner, or a family adventure week across multiple activities.
Each Activity Still Has Its Own Policy.
Inside a package, each activity still follows its own cancellation policy. The booking page explains the policy of each activity, or links to it directly. Please review them before confirming the package.
Packages are priced lower than booking each activity separately. The discount exists because you are booking the full bundle. If you cancel one activity from a package, you do not receive the bundle discount on the remaining activities. The remaining activities will be repriced as if they were booked individually, and the difference is not refundable. This rule exists to prevent clever cancellations designed to lock in the bundle discount without honoring the full package.
For a small number of bookings, Club Canary needs a copy of your passport or identification document. We do this only when required by the authority, the partner, or Spanish law. Examples include the Povolenie na túru Mount Teide, certain government-controlled events, restricted nature reserves, and qualifying resident discounts.
Identification documents are shared only with the partner or authority that needs to verify them. Club Canary does not save the document in our systems after verification. Messages on WhatsApp or email containing ID documents are deleted by our team once the booking is registered.
If you are not comfortable sharing a passport or ID copy for a booking that requires it, that booking cannot be confirmed. Full details are available in our Ochrana osobných údajov.
Club Canary works with around 200 vetted local partners across the Canary Islands. Many of these are small, trusted local operators who handle bookings manually, by phone, or through their own internal systems. Their availability changes minute by minute and is not always reflected online in real time.
For short-notice bookings, the easiest and fastest way is to just go ahead and book directly on clubcanary.com. Trust us. If the activity turns out to be unavailable, we find an alternative partner who can do it, or we cancel the booking and refund the payment. Asking us "is this available?" first often slows things down. By the time you book one hour later, the spot may already be taken.
How Our Payment System Helps You.
Most Club Canary payments go on pending authorization first, not instant capture. The amount is reserved but not fully charged until our team confirms availability and marks your order as completed. This applies to most credit card payments and PayPal payments.
Exceptions To The Pending System.
Some payment methods skip the pending step and capture the amount instantly. These include the following.

If The Activity Cannot Be Confirmed.
If your booking cannot be confirmed, Club Canary normally offers the following.
Our goal is always a fair and fast solution. The exception is when a booking note clearly displayed on the activity page is ignored, in which case Club Canary may offer a partial refund or credit instead of a full refund.
When To Check Availability First Instead.
If you would rather not risk booking and waiting for confirmation, you can always send us a quick message on WhatsApp or live chat first. This is the right option for clients who would feel upset if the booking turned out unavailable. For everyone else, just book. We will sort it.
Club Canary lists hundreds of activities across the six Canary Islands. Some of them are activities we strongly recommend. Others are activities we list because clients keep asking for them, even when we do not personally consider them the best choice. We are always honest about this in the activity text.
Why We Still Offer Them.
If travelers want to book a specific type of activity, it is better that they book it through Club Canary than through an unknown street kiosk. With us, they get registered bookings, real customer support, and an honest description of what they are getting into.
Examples Of Activities We List With Honest Notes.
By booking an activity that includes an honest note from Club Canary in its description, you confirm that you have read the note and accepted the trade-offs of that activity. Refund claims based on issues we already warned about in the listing text are not accepted.
Our activity descriptions are written carefully. When Club Canary advises a smaller group, a private upgrade, or a different format, that advice is honest and based on real client experience. Choosing to ignore that advice is a personal decision, and Club Canary cannot be held responsible for outcomes we already explained.
Many Club Canary activities include a pickup service. The pickup zone depends on the island and the activity. When pickup is included, the return drop-off is also included unless stated otherwise.
Standard Pickup Zones By Island.
Standard group activities follow tight pickup routes to keep the experience smooth for everyone on board. Adding remote locations adds 20 or 30 minutes to the trip for the rest of the group, which is annoying for other travelers. This is why some hotels in remote or off-route locations are not included in standard pickup. A good example is the Ritz-Carlton Abama in Tenerife, which is beautiful but located off the main route. For those locations, you either take a taxi to the nearest pickup point, pay a small surcharge if the activity allows it, or book a private trip with full pickup flexibility.
Luxury And Private Bookings.
For luxury travelers, Canary Club members, or anyone booking a fully private experience, pickup flexibility is almost unlimited. We collect from any hotel, villa, harbor, or airport you specify. This is one of the clear advantages of upgrading to a private booking when standard pickup does not match your accommodation.
Pickup Limitations And Responsibility.
Canceling because your accommodation falls outside the standard pickup zone is not a valid reason for refund. The pickup itself is operated by the partner, not Club Canary. We provide the meeting time and location on your ticket. The partner is responsible for arriving on time, and you are responsible for being ready on time.
Pickup may occasionally be unavailable, even when indicated, due to broken transport or last-minute capacity issues. In such cases a small taxi compensation may be offered, but Club Canary is not obligated to do so.

Club Canary is known for being flexible. Most activities offer free cancellation between 24 and 72 hours before the scheduled time. Specific deadlines are shown on each activity page and you confirm you have read them when you book.
General Cancellation Tiers.
Stricter rules apply to special events, private jets, supercar hire, group bookings, and other special categories listed in Section B above. To cancel a booking, contact us at office@clubcanary.com or via WhatsApp at +34 604 10 50 55 with your order number from the same email or phone used to book.

Date Change Requests.
If Club Canary agrees to a date change as a favor outside the original free cancellation window, the booking may no longer be eligible for refund. A date change is goodwill from our side, not a reset of your cancellation window. If the new date is cancelled by weather or other reasons beyond our control, we will try to offer an alternative, but no refund is guaranteed on the deposit.
If you do not arrive at the meeting point on time, do not attend without proper notice, or arrive too late to participate, your booking is considered a no-show. Common situations include oversleeping, missing transport, being at the wrong meeting point, last-minute illness without documentation, or ignoring instructions.
When you do not attend, Club Canary is still invoiced for the full activity cost by the partner. The deposit is your commitment, not the full cost. You remain responsible for the full balance owed. This is identical to reserving and not paying any business that has reserved time, staff, or equipment on your behalf.
If A Client Refuses To Pay The Balance.
If a client refuses to pay the balance owed after a confirmed booking, Club Canary may take further steps. These include formal reporting for accounting and legal purposes, communication with payment providers, internal documentation of the incident, and in serious cases, filing an official report with relevant authorities. We do this because Club Canary still owes the partner the full amount, and Spanish tax law requires us to legally explain financial gaps.

How Club Canary communicates with you, the use of AI in live chat, the reality of multi-agent customer service, and the languages we work in.
Club Canary communicates officially through email addresses ending in @clubcanary.com, our WhatsApp business number +34 604 10 50 55, and our live chat at clubcanary.com. Messages from any other domain or number claiming to represent us should be treated as suspicious.
You are responsible for providing correct contact information at booking. If false or incorrect details prevent Club Canary from reaching you about your booking, you are not entitled to a refund for any resulting issues.
Club Canary's WhatsApp is a business number. By law, we cannot message you first from this number. You must start the conversation. After booking, you receive an email with instructions on how to contact Club Canary on WhatsApp with your order number.
For important issues, disputes, or legal matters, we move communication to email because it provides the clearest written record.
Club Canary uses educated AI chatbots on the website live chat to provide fast initial replies. The AI is trained specifically on Club Canary content, policies, and product information. It is not a generic chatbot.
Information provided through live chat is for quick guidance and is not always 100% accurate. You should always double-check key details such as prices, availability, and meeting points by email or against the activity page on clubcanary.com. You can always ask if you are speaking with a real agent, and Club Canary will tell you the truth. We never lie about whether you are talking to AI or a human.
WhatsApp conversations are normally handled by real people on our team. Some quick auto-replies during business hour transitions may be AI-assisted, but full conversations are handled by human agents.
Club Canary customer service is staffed by between 6 and 8 active agents at any given time. WhatsApp messages, Instagram messages, Facebook messages, live chat conversations, and emails all come into a shared CRM platform. You may speak with different agents within the same WhatsApp conversation.
Our shifts change at 15:00 Canary Islands time each day. The first shift covers 08:00 to 15:00, the second covers 15:00 to 22:00. If you started a conversation with one agent in the morning and continue it in the evening, you may be speaking with a different team member.

Most Canary Islands tours and activities are operated in Angličtina a španielčina, and sometimes in German, French, or Italian depending on the partner. Just because you booked through the Polish, Dutch, Hungarian, or any other language version of our website does nie mean the activity itself is delivered in that language. The language of the activity is always shown on the activity booking page.
Refund requests based on the assumption that the activity language matches the website language are not accepted. By booking, you confirm that you have read the activity language information on the booking page.
For Canary Club members and private bookings, we can arrange guides, captains, and chefs in additional languages on request. This is one of the advantages of upgrading to a private experience.
Club Canary has only the official social media accounts listed below. Any other account claiming to be us is fake and should be reported. Please verify the link before sharing any personal information or booking details on social media.
Club Canary does not collect bookings through social media DMs. Any social media account asking you to send payment details or book through chat should be treated as suspicious. Always book through clubcanary.com or our official WhatsApp business number.
Standards of behavior, safety on activities, and how Club Canary handles reviews, complaints, and the small minority of bad-faith situations.
Club Canary is not responsible for illness, injury, or death resulting from an activity booked through our platform. The activity is operated by the partner under their own safety standards and licenses. By accepting these terms, you agree that Club Canary is not financially accountable for personal injury or accidents during activities.
In the event of a major accident, you authorize Club Canary to share your information with local authorities, emergency services, or your declared family members if needed for emergency response.
Drug And Alcohol Policy.
Many Club Canary activities are family-friendly and welcome relaxed enjoyment. However, if a guide or captain determines that a participant's behavior creates a safety risk for the group due to intoxication, aggression, or refusal to follow safety instructions, they have the right to end the activity early, return to port, or remove the participant. No refund is due in such cases.
Travel insurance is the right way to cover most medical and accident-related situations. Club Canary strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance for every trip to the Canary Islands.
Club Canary strongly encourages honest feedback. You can leave reviews on the specific activity page where you booked. Honest reviews help future travelers make better decisions.
Reviews on third-party platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Yelp, and Trust Index that do not relate to a real Club Canary experience may be flagged for removal. Reviews posted out of frustration or as pressure for refunds are considered an attempt to influence outcome and may be reported as such.
Club Canary cannot issue refunds without partner approval. We can issue warnings, discontinue partnerships, or take other action based on genuine feedback. Where a refund is approved, Club Canary can only return the amount paid to us, which is usually the deposit. Balances paid directly to a partner must be discussed with that partner.
Photography By Operators.
Many Club Canary partner operators take photos during activities and offer them to participants for purchase. If you do not buy them, the operator is responsible for deleting them according to their own data policy. Club Canary is not involved in those photos directly.
Photos that Club Canary uses on the website are received from operators under the assumption that the operator obtained proper consent from the people in the photos. If you appear in a photo on our website and did not give consent, please contact us. We can provide proof that the photo came from the operator, will remove it, and you can address the consent issue directly with the operator.
Some bus tour images and atmospheric photos may be edited or AI-generated to illustrate the experience when original photos are not available. We never use more than two enhanced images per listing to avoid misrepresentation. Refunds based on minor visual differences between photos and the real experience will not be entertained.
By engaging with Club Canary, you agree to uphold standards of honesty and respect. The following behaviors are not acceptable and may result in formal action.
Incidents are documented with messages, recordings, and video evidence where available. Documented misconduct may result in formal legal claims, typically from 6,000€ for general misconduct, with higher amounts for serious cases such as physical threats, stalking, or sustained abuse of our team members.
Fraudulent Claims And False Statements.
Club Canary is committed to protecting honest clients and our partners. If false claims are made to obtain refunds, for example claiming an activity did not happen when partner footage shows it did, this is treated as attempted fraud. We may share evidence with payment providers and relevant authorities where required by Spanish law.
For escalation, all communication moves to email only at legal@clubcanary.com. Dispute resolution by an impartial third party may be required if these terms or accepted policies are not respected.
The Club Canary office is located inside Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque, a luxury shopping center in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. We are only physically present in Tenerife at this time. We do not have offices on the other islands, although we operate across all six.
We welcome clients who wish to visit for genuine in-person service, planning consultations, or to meet our team. We strongly prefer appointment visits, especially if you want to be attended in a specific language. Walk-in visits are also welcome any day of the week during opening hours.

Security And Authorities.
Plaza del Duque has its own security service. Club Canary, the shopping center, and its security personnel reserve the right to contact local authorities, including the Spanish Civil Guard and Police, for any visitor whose behavior is disruptive, intoxicated, threatening, abusive, or unsafe.
Visitors who arrive in larger groups, intoxicated, or with the intent to pressure our team will be asked to leave immediately. If they refuse, security is contacted as standard procedure.
For complaints about missed bookings, we strongly prefer email or WhatsApp first, in writing, so the case can be reviewed properly. Office meetings are best for genuine planning conversations, not last-minute refund pressure.
Club Canary reserves the right to refuse service or end a relationship with any client whose behavior is disruptive, threatening, abusive, dishonest, or unsafe. This includes behavior on the phone, in writing, in person, on social media, or during an activity.
References to "you" or "your" in this section include any other person in your party. We may also refuse service to known associates of clients previously banned for misconduct.
How Club Canary protects its content, your privacy, and the legal jurisdiction under which these terms operate.
Club Canary invests heavily in original photography, video, and written content across all our pages. The brand, style, voice, fonts, colors, logos, and messaging are uniquely ours. Imitation or unauthorized commercial use is taken seriously.
Photography And Video.
Many images on clubcanary.com are owned by Club Canary. Others are used with explicit permission from our partners. All photos are watermarked or visually identifiable. Unauthorized commercial use may incur charges starting at the following amounts.
Text And Editorial Content.
Club Canary's website text, blog content, and social media descriptions are original work. Reproduction on commercial platforms may trigger a formal request for evidence of publishing dates. Authenticity is verified through time-stamped records and search ranking comparisons.
To avoid formal legal proceedings, copied content cases start at from 4,500€. Club Canary has a large team working on the website daily, and content theft is taken seriously.

Personal data collected during booking, support, and account interactions is handled in line with GDPR and Spanish data protection law. We collect only what we need, share only what is necessary for the booking, and protect what we hold with reasonable security measures.

Entire Agreement.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the specific cancellation policy of your activity, our Vrátenie peňazí politika, naše Ochrana osobných údajov, and any signed contract for special bookings, constitute the entire agreement between you and Club Canary. Nothing said verbally on phone, WhatsApp, live chat, or in person overrides what is written here or on the booking page. Verbal indications are guidance only and never binding promises.
Severability.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in full force and effect.
Jurisdiction And Applicable Law.
These terms are governed by Spanish law as applied in the Canary Islands. Any dispute taken to court will be submitted to the courts of the user or company place of residence, with parties expressly renouncing any other jurisdiction.
Changes To These Terms.
Club Canary may update these Terms and Conditions periodically for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The current version is always available at this page. Major changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated to affected customers where practical.
By completing a booking on clubcanary.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full. You agree they form a binding agreement between you and Club Canary, to which both parties will adhere in good faith.
