Does it make sense to visit this banana farm if I stay in Puerto de la Cruz?
If you are already planning to explore the south of Tenerife, then yes, this banana farm is a nice and easy stop to add to your day. However, if you are staying in Puerto de la Cruz and want something closer, it usually makes more sense to visit a banana plantation in the north instead. On which days can I visit the banana farm?
Club Canary offers self-guided visits on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with entry at 09:30. These days are available through our special collaboration with Finca Las Margaritas, making it easy to plan your visit in advance.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive a little late, you can usually still enter the banana farm. However, we recommend arriving before 10:00. The tasting experience takes place around 10:15, which is the highlight of the visit. If you arrive too late, you may miss this part or entry may no longer be possible.
