You head out from Puerto Rico with a few other small groups and everyone takes turns flying. The whole trip lasts around 45 minutes, and your own time in the air is about 10 minutes on the 150m rope or 12 minutes on the 300m rope.
And that is a good thing: you are on the water far longer than the flight itself, the boat ride is part of the fun, and you get to watch your friends fly and cheer them on. Take off and landing happen gently right on the boat, so most people stay completely dry.
