How Parasailing in Gran Canaria Really Works
Here is the honest bit, because most sites do not explain it: this is a shared boat activity, not a private charter. You head out from Puerto Rico with a few other small groups, and everyone takes turns flying. The whole trip lasts around 45 minuti, and your own time in the air is about 10 minutes on the 150m rope or 12 minutes on the 300m rope.
And that is a good thing. You are on the water far longer than the flight itself, the boat ride is part of the fun, and you get to watch your friends fly and cheer them on. Take off and landing happen gently right on the boat, so most people stay completely dry.

Times, Ages, What to Bring & Meeting Point
- Every day at 9:30, 14:15 and 14:45. Times can shift a little with the weather and sea.
- You share the boat with a few small groups and take turns flying. The whole trip is around 45 minuti, with about 10 minutes in the air on the 150m rope or 12 minutes on the 300m rope.
- Fino a 3 people per parachute, and the price is per flight. Groups of 4 or more fly in separate rounds on the same boat.
