The Sunset Edition is the popular one and the calendar is not always up to date. Booking two weeks or more ahead is safe. One week ahead is usually possible, but we may ask you to move to another date. Less than two weeks out? Message us before you book and we confirm your night in minutes. The Late Night Edition is often still free when Sunset is full. For Late Night groups of more than 8 people we always check first, because a second driver has to stay up until 02:30 too.

Teide National Park is one of the finest places in Europe to look at the night sky. Most visitors see it from a big coach with mixed languages, long pickup routes and very little personal attention. The Food, Honestly
The Sunset Edition includes a picnic, and we want to be clear about what that means. The stop is a picnic area inside Teide National Park. There is no restaurant, no kitchen and no cooking allowed up there, that needs licences nobody has on the mountain. So your guide brings good Canarian tapas from local shops: cheeses, cured meats, bread, olives, fruit, sweets, with wine, cava, beer and soft drinks. He sets it up while the sun goes down and you eat with the best view on the island.
🧀 Set Your Expectations Right
For most guests this is exactly right: a relaxed picnic at 2,000 metres while the sky changes colour. It is a nice extra, not a dinner, and it is not fine dining. If you are used to high-end restaurants and expect a plated meal, this will not be that. Eat something before, or plan a late dinner after, the Sunset Edition is back around 22:45. Want more than the picnic? Message us after booking and the guide can sometimes arrange a takeaway pickup on the way up. Not guaranteed, and nothing gets cooked on the mountain.

The Sunset Edition is the complete evening. The Late Night Edition is about the most romantic thing you can do in Tenerife after dinner, and after midnight the sky up there is as dark as it gets.
Kolme rehellistä asiaa. The picnic is a picnic. Good Canarian tapas from local shops at 2,000 metres, not a chef, not a restaurant. If you expect fine dining you will be disappointed, so eat before or after, or message us about a takeaway. Book the Sunset Edition early, two weeks ahead is safe, and message us first if it is closer than that. The Late Night Edition has no north pickup, so from Puerto de la Cruz the Sunset Edition is your only option with a transfer.
On a tighter budget, the pienryhmäretki Teidelle gives you a great night for considerably less. But nothing else on the island matches this private format, and as far as we know nobody else runs the late night one.
