What This Private Catamaran Trip Is Really Like

The F40 is a racing-style sailing boat upgraded for comfort: sporty feeling, relaxed setup. And because it is a private charter, you help shape the day. Tell the skipper what you want and he plans the route with you, sailing the south coast, often towards Lobos or north Fuerteventura when the wind allows. Real sailing, not just engine cruising, so every trip feels a little different.

Your Day, Your Way

Most groups come to chill, swim, have a picnic onboard and soak up the views while the skipper handles everything. Want a more active, sporty sail instead? Say the word and you get that real sailing buzz.

Friends relaxing and toasting drinks on the trampoline of the F40 catamaran while sailing off Lanzarote

This is the good life 🍻 Sit back, crack open a cold one and toast the day. The boat is yours, that is exactly what it is for.

The F40 is a private catamaran charter in Lanzarote for up to 12 guests, departing from Playa Blanca for 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Skipper David Vera plans the route with your group, snorkelling gear, paddleboard and kayak are included, you bring your own food and drinks, and Club Canary confirms the date with a small online deposit.

Why Choose The F40 Instead Of A Shared Boat Trip?

On a shared boat you follow someone else's schedule with strangers onboard. On the F40 the boat is yours: your people, your music, your route wishes and your rhythm. It is one of the best-value picks for a private boat trip in Lanzarote, the private experience without paying luxury yacht prices.

Swim Stops, Snorkelling, SUP And Kayak

When the skipper drops anchor in a calm spot, the water is yours. Jump in for a swim, snorkel the clear water with the gear onboard, or play on the stand-up paddleboard and kayak. The water toys come with the boat, so the fun is on the house.

Bring Your Own Food And Drinks

This is a bring-your-own style charter, which keeps it great value: pack the snacks and drinks your group loves. Onboard you find a cool box with ice, disposable cutlery and a Bluetooth speaker for your own music. One small favour: please skip red drinks like red wine or sangria, they stain the boat.

How Long Is the Catamaran Charter?

You choose the duration that suits you: 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours. A 4-hour trip is great for a quick sailing adventure, while the longer options give you a full day on the water with more time to swim, snorkel and relax. Not sure which to pick? Message the Club Canary team and we will help you choose.

Marine life is never guaranteed, but the sailing, the swim stops and the views are the real highlights.

Is the F40 Good for Families With Kids?

Yes. The F40 is a relaxed private charter, so families can enjoy it at their own pace with no crowds. As it is a sailing boat with open deck areas, keep an eye on little ones, and the crew will brief you on safety before you set off.

Is the Catamaran Trip Suitable if I Get Seasick?

Why Book the F40 With Club Canary?

Because private boat trips are our thing. Club Canary specialises in private charters, so we help you customise your day, answer your questions, and plan the trip around what your group actually wants. Booking elsewhere will not be cheaper, we have a Best Price Guarantee, and most big platforms just resell these trips without really knowing Lanzarote or the boat.

Here is the real difference: even if you booked the skipper direct, he is out sailing all day and cannot answer messages. We can. The Club Canary team is on WhatsApp from 8am to 10pm, before and during your trip. Same price, but you get real local service, and we can even sort the rest of your Lanzarote plans while we are at it. That is the easy, honest way to book.

Do You Need Sailing Experience for the F40 Catamaran?

None at all. This is a relaxed private trip, not a hardcore sailing course. Most people come to chill, swim, enjoy a picnic onboard, and soak up the views. Your skipper handles all the sailing, you just sit back and enjoy it.

That said, it is your charter. If your group does want a more active, sporty sail, just let us know and the skipper will do his best to give you that real sailing buzz. Your day, your way.

Booking Policy

Thank you for booking your private charter with Club Canary. Once your time is reserved, the skipper blocks the schedule and turns away other guests, so these terms keep it fair for everyone. Please read them before you book.

Deposit And Payment

You secure your date and time with a small online deposit, which counts toward your total. The remaining balance is paid on the day before departure, usually in cash or by card depending on the skipper. The deposit confirms your charter but does not cover late cancellations or no-shows.

Free Cancellation And Changes

Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 8 days before departure. Request it by email to office@clubcanary.com.

Late Cancellation

Cancelled with less than 3 days notice: the deposit is lost and an additional fee of 40€ per reserved hour applies, because the skipper blocked that time for you.

Last Minute And No-Show

Within 24 hours of departure, or a no-show: the full remaining amount is charged. This is a high-demand private charter.

No refund for same-day cancellations, late arrivals or guests who do not show up. Once the trip has started, refunds are not possible if someone feels sick or wants to end early.

Conduct And Safety

The skipper and crew are responsible for onboard safety, route decisions and sea conditions. Follow their instructions and treat the crew and boat with respect. Unsafe or disrespectful behaviour can end the charter without refund.

Weather And Sea Conditions

If the trip is cancelled for unsafe conditions, you choose: reschedule for free or receive a full refund. The route and sailing area can change with the wind and sea state, always aiming for the best and safest experience.

Assistance

To cancel, reschedule or ask anything, email office@clubcanary.com or chat on WhatsApp, every day from 08:00 to 22:00. Special requests like extra hours, celebration setups or route wishes: message early so we can check availability.

These rules are not here to annoy anyone, they are about fairness. Your reserved time means the skipper says no to other groups, so showing up on time keeps the best private charters available for everyone. Thanks for keeping it smooth.
