Boating Without License Gran Canaria

1. Ensure you have your Club Canary ticket ready; a digital copy on your phone or a printed one will suffice.
2. Please be prepared to settle the balance of the cost upon arrival, which can be paid via cash or card.
3. It’s essential to pack swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen. A captain, who must be at least 18 years old and can provide a valid ID or passport, is required for the journey.
4. A 100€ deposit is required when you board the boat; this is a safety deposit which will be returned to you as long as the boat is returned in good condition and no equipment such as the paddle board or snorkels are lost or damaged.
5. Although food and drinks are not provided during the trip, storage and a fridge are available for your convenience; please bring your own ice, food, and drinks.
6. To prevent seasickness, it’s advisable to take a travel sickness tablet 30 minutes before departure.
7. For your comfort, the boat is equipped with spots for sunbathing and shaded sitting areas.

Meeting Location:

• Meeting point: Av del Muelle 34, Arguineguín, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Attendees should arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.

Gran Canaria Boat Without Captain

Weather:

• If the weather’s bad, we might have to cancel the trip. If this happens, we’ll try to find another date that works for you. The decision on weather conditions and the viability of the trip is solely at the discretion of the captain and crew, not the client.

Cancel or Change Date:

• If you need to cancel or change the date of your trip, email us at office@clubcanary.com. If you do this up to 72 hours before, it’s free!
• If you cancel between 24 and 72 hours before, there’s a 50€ charge.
• If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or don’t show up, you’ll have to pay 75% of the booking price.

Being Late:

• If you’re late, that time will be taken off your trip.

Seasickness:

• If you cut the trip short because of seasickness, there won’t be a refund.

What to Bring:

• You can bring your food and drinks. Just remember, if you’re the captain, no drinking alcohol! Any fines for breaking this rule are on you.
• Don’t forget to bring your ID or Passport. If you don’t, you might not be allowed on the boat, and there will be no refund.

Deposit & Equipment:

• There’s a 100€ deposit. This also covers the snorkel masks. Please be careful with all the gear.

Age Limit:

• You gotta be at least 18 to rent the boat.

Coolbox:

• There’s a coolbox on the boat, but you need to bring your own ice.

Marine Life:

• Please be cool to the sea creatures. No swimming with whales or dolphins. Any fines for messing with nature are your responsibility.

Agreement:

• By booking, you’re saying you understand and agree to all these rules.
