Below: the trip lengths, prices, what's included, all the info, and the policy.
A Private Fishing Boat for Your Group
On a private charter the boat is yours for the day. No random guests, no fixed group, just your family, friends or fishing crew. You choose the atmosphere, the timing and the fishing style, within what the sea allows. It is the relaxed, flexible way to fish Gran Canaria, and it is ideal for groups who want space and control.
Why Go Private?
Privacy is the point. You are not sharing the deck or the rods with strangers, and you set the day around your group. It works for a family day, a group of friends, or a serious angler chasing a big fish. On a good day the crew can target real big game, but here is the honest part: marlin and tuna are possible, never promised.

The dream result. A marlin beside the boat, the goal for many charters, but big fish are never guaranteed.
How Long? 3 to 12 Hours
The trip length changes the kind of day you get. A 3 to 4 hour charter is great for families and beginners, a relaxed taste of fishing without a long day at sea. A 5 to 12 hour charter gives the crew time to run further offshore for serious deep sea fishing, targeting tuna, marlin and other big game. Longer time on the water means better chances at the big species, though nothing on the ocean is ever guaranteed. Night fishing may be possible on request.
The Fishing and the Big Fish
Depending on your plan and the conditions, the crew troll for big game or drop lines for other species. Longer offshore trips give the real shot at tuna, marlin and sharks. Bring realistic expectations: the crew will work hard to find the fish, but the season, the sea and luck all have a say. When it comes together, a private charter is where the biggest days happen.

A personal catch. A guest with a deep sea catch, private charters give serious fishers more time to chase the big ones.
The Boat and the Crew
This is a real fishing boat, not a pleasure cruiser: over 40 years fishing these waters, with sonar, autopilot and a professional fighting chair for the big fights. The crew are fishermen, not hotel-trained guides, so expect straight talk and real skill rather than waiter service. They know where the fish tend to be and will do everything they can to put you on them.

Crew in the fight. The crew step in for the big fights, real fishermen with real gear and a fighting chair on board.

Club Canary's Honest Take
Real talk from your local team in the Canary Islands
Straight up: this is where the big days happen. Your own boat, a crew with 40 years on these waters, proper gear and a fighting chair, and the time to run offshore for tuna and marlin. For a group of friends, a family, or a serious angler, having the whole boat and your own plan is worth it.
The honest bit: even a private charter cannot promise fish. The crew will do everything they can, but the ocean has the final say. Book the longer trips if the big species are the goal, bring realistic expectations, and enjoy the day for what it is. Just two of you on a budget? The shared trip is the smarter pick.
For a private day chasing big fish in Gran Canaria, this charter is an easy one to recommend.
