If you push the quad too hard in the heat or do stupid stuff, problems are on you, not on Club Canary.

Schedule & Meeting Point:
• Start times normally at 10:00 or 14:00, depending on your quad rental Tenerife booking (4h, 6h, or full day).
• Meeting points are in the main tourist areas in the south of Tenerife, close to hotels in Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje.
• When booking, please write the name of your hotel (not the address). If you are in an apartment, use the nearest well-known hotel as reference.

Transport & Options:
This is a self-drive quad bike rental Tenerife. You come to the meeting point yourself and drive the quad on public roads. No pick-up bus and no guide are included. Drinking and driving is strictly forbidden, and off-road riding is not allowed. If you prefer a more relaxed option where everything is guided for you, we recommend a guided quad tour instead.

Group Size:
This quad hire Tenerife option can be used by single riders, couples or small groups. There can be up to 20 quads available, but going with a very large group is not recommended, as it attracts attention and can create traffic issues. For bigger groups, it is better to contact us so we can recommend the safest and most comfortable setup.

Languages:

Some staff from QOOAD Tenerife are German, so you may receive calls or WhatsApp messages from a German phone number. Ticket & Accessibility:
• A full, valid driving licence is required for the driver. Provisional licences, photos of licences or “learning permits” are not accepted.
• Passengers from 12 years old may ride on the back with an adult driver.
• This is not a wheelchair-accessible experience and is not recommended during pregnancy.

Deposit & Policy:
Club Canary makes booking easy with a small deposit online and the rest paid on the day by cash or card. A 100€ safety deposit is required at collection of the quad to our partner (cash, card or PayPal) because in the past some clients parked illegally or drove off-road, causing fines and towing costs. Full insurance is included, but if the quad is misused (off-road, illegal parking, reckless driving), costs and fines can be taken from the deposit. Assistance is provided by the rental partner if something happens on the road, but this is not an emergency rescue service. If a problem happens late at night or far away, you may need to wait until the next possible moment for help, and mechanical issues do not mean a refund from Club Canary. 💳 Deposit & Payment

• With Club Canary, you only pay a small deposit online to confirm your quad hire Tenerife booking — this is part of the total price, not an extra fee.
• The remaining balance is paid on the day directly to the quad rental provider (QOOAD Tenerife) when you collect the quad.
• The online deposit is normally non-refundable once the free cancellation period has passed. Any refunds after that can only be made if the rental partner clearly authorises it.
• A separate 100€ safety deposit per quad is required at collection (cash, card or PayPal). This is handled by the rental partner and is used in case of fines, towing, off-road damage or other misuse.
• If there are technical problems or breakdowns during the rental, any possible refund or discount comes from the amount you paid on the day to the rental partner, not from the online deposit paid to Club Canary.

🗓️ Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation for standard bookings up to 48 hours before the start time.
• For bookings of 4 or more quads, free cancellation is possible up to 4 days in advance.
• For long-term rentals (more than one day), free cancellation is possible up to 96 hours (4 days) for 1–3 quads, and up to 8 days for bookings of 4 or more quads.
• Late cancellations, last-minute changes outside these time frames, or no-shows result in the loss of the deposit. Additional fees may also apply if the partner has prepared the vehicles.
• No refund is given if you arrive without a valid driving licence, arrive too late, or are refused for safety reasons (for example intoxication).
• All cancellation or change requests must be sent to office@clubcanary.com before the deadline.

⚖️ Responsibility, Routes & Conduct

• Quads may be driven on public roads, including the official roads to Teide National Park and mountain villages such as Masca, but only on asphalt roads and inside traffic rules. Off-road use (paths, tracks, fields, trails) is strictly forbidden.
• Driving on motorways/highways (such as TF-1) is not recommended and can be dangerous, especially with strong wind, heavy traffic or at night.
• Quad driving can be physically demanding. Long drives uphill in hot weather, or to high altitude in winter (snow, ice, low temperatures), can be risky both for you and for the vehicle. If you choose such routes, you accept this risk.
• All drivers must have a full, valid driving licence. Provisional licences, learner permits or photos of licences are not accepted.
• Drinking and driving, driving under the influence of drugs or medicine that affects your reactions, or reckless behaviour (wheelies, speeding, phone use while driving, taking photos while moving) are strictly forbidden.
• If a guest behaves dangerously or disrespectfully, the rental provider may refuse to hand over the quad or stop the rental, without any right to refund.

🌦️ External Factors, Breakdowns & Weather

• Quad hire Tenerife is a real outdoor activity. Heat, steep climbs, altitude, strong wind or rain can affect both comfort and the performance of the quad.
• On very hot days, long climbs (for example driving high into the mountains or to Teide) may cause the quad to struggle or require a break. This is considered part of the adventure and is not a reason for a refund.
• In winter, driving towards Teide when there is snow or ice can be dangerous. If you decide to go, you accept the risk and must drive with extra care or turn back when conditions are not safe.
• If the quad has a mechanical issue, the rental partner will try to help or send someone when possible. This is not an emergency rescue service, and in some situations you may need to wait for assistance.
• For long-term rentals, there is no refund if one of the days has bad weather. We recommend checking the forecast before booking multi-day quad bike rental Tenerife.

📩 Communication, Data Sharing & Partner Role

• Club Canary works with the licensed quad rental provider QOOAD Tenerife. They own, maintain and operate the quads.
• Some of their staff are German, so you may receive calls or messages from a German phone number related to your quad hire Tenerife booking.
• By booking, you give Club Canary permission to share your name and phone number with QOOAD Tenerife so they can contact you about meeting point, timing and any urgent updates.
• Your details are used only for quad rental Tenerife communication and are not shared for other purposes.

🛡️ Insurance & Legal Responsibility

• The quad hire Tenerife provider is licensed and insured to offer rentals in the Canary Islands. Insurance conditions are set by them, not by Club Canary.
• In case of accident, damage, fines, police checks, disputes or any legal situation, the responsibility is strictly between you (the client) and the quad rental provider.
• By booking, you accept that quad biking can be dangerous and that you participate at your own risk.
• Club Canary is not the owner or operator of the quads. We are only the booking platform and cannot be held legally responsible for incidents, injuries, delays, fines, breakdowns or any problems that occur during or after the rental period.
• All claims, complaints or compensation requests about the quad, the route, accidents or service must be made directly with QOOAD Tenerife according to their procedures and insurance rules.
