Car Rental in Tenerife

Our rental cars can only be used on Tenerife. If you need to travel to other islands and plan to rent for more than 4 days, please contact us in advance via WhatsApp or live chat. We’ll try to help, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Our cars are safe, reliable, and well-maintained. Some vehicles are almost new, while others may have light signs of regular use. This is not a luxury car service but a convenient and affordable option for Tenerife car rental.

All our cars are insured. Small scratches or marks from parking are common and won’t result in charges. If you're worried, feel free to document the car’s condition at the time of delivery.

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Shorter rentals are not available.

Returning the car is simple. At pickup, we’ll explain the process. You can also leave the keys at your hotel or apartment reception if needed.

We offer free delivery in South Tenerife, including areas like Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, Callao Salvaje, and Playa Paraíso. For Tenerife South Airport, there’s a small delivery fee of 10€. Delivery to the north of Tenerife (e.g., Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz) is not possible or in some cases its possible for an extra 60€, and it needs to be for long rental, contact us to check.

If you’re staying in the north, you can take a bus to Los Cristianos, where we’ll deliver your rental car. You can return it at the same location or at the airport for convenience.

Off-road driving is not allowed, as insurance does not cover it. You’re also responsible for lost keys or damage to tires caused by improper driving. Please avoid leaving valuables inside the car to prevent theft. If any damage occurs, contact your contact person immediately for assistance.

• Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before your booking. • Cancelling 48–72 hours before results in the loss of your deposit. • Cancelling 12–48 hours before adds a 20€ fee per day (up to 100€). • Cancelling less than 12 hours before or no-shows incur a fee of 30€ per day (up to 150€).

Yes, cash payments are accepted! You can choose the “Reserve Now, Pay Later” option on our website. To confirm your booking, a down payment is always required. You can either: pay the deposit in cash at our office, or pay the deposit online via credit card, PayPal, or other available methods. The remaining balance can be paid in cash when the car is delivered. If you're unable to come to the office, the deposit must still be paid online to secure the booking.

For most car rentals in Tenerife through Club Canary, you can enjoy unlimited kilometers—drive as much as you like without worrying about extra fees. This applies to the standard car rental category. However, please note that our luxury car rentals may have mileage limits due to their exclusive nature. With Club Canary, the minimum age to rent a car depends on the driver’s age and experience. Drivers who are 25 years or older and have at least 4 years of driving experience can rent without paying a deposit. For drivers between 21 and 24 years old, rentals are possible but a deposit between 100€ and 500€ may be required depending on age and experience. Unfortunately, we cannot provide rentals to anyone 20 years old or younger. If you are younger than 21, we normally do not recommend chasing a rental, as Tenerife is very busy with traffic and finding parking can be quite difficult, it can easily turn into a nightmare for an inexperienced driver.

In most cases, it’s not possible to extend your car rental period. Tenerife car rentals are extremely busy, and your car is often already booked for the next person. To avoid disappointment, make sure to book the car for the exact dates you need from the start.
