- Return the car with the same fuel level it had on delivery. Most cars arrive with a nearly empty tank, so refuel shortly after pickup. Our team shows you the fuel type and the nearest station. Fuel in Tenerife is much cheaper than most of Europe.
- No off-road driving, it is not covered by insurance. No drifting, no stunts, and no losing the keys. Do not leave valuables in the car. Tenerife is a beautiful island, not a race track. Drive it properly and you will love every kilometre.
- Every rental includes 24/7 roadside assistance. If the car breaks down, message your Club Canary contact immediately. We will get you a replacement car, organise repairs, or offer compensation depending on the situation.

Rental Terms And Cancellation
Deposit And Payment
- A 25% deposit is paid at booking to secure your reservation.
- The balance is paid on delivery when we hand over the keys, cash or card.
- A refundable 1000€ security deposit is paid on delivery, by card or cash, and returned after the car comes back in the same condition. It covers traffic fines, lost keys, or damage not included in the insurance.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 20 days before the rental start date.
- 10 to 20 days before: loss of 50% of the down payment (7.5% of the total).
- 5 to 10 days before: loss of the full down payment (25% of the total).
- 1 to 5 days before: loss of the full down payment plus 125€ per day booked, up to 625€.
- Less than 24 hours, or a no-show: loss of the full down payment plus 250€ per day booked, up to 1000€.
