We regret to inform you that the Coso Apoteosis event in Santa Cruz, a major highlight of the Tenerife Carnival, has been cancelled. The cancellation is due to a tragic incident where a 30-year-old man from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, reportedly involved in an altercation on the Avenida Marítima in Santa Cruz de Tenerife during Carnival celebrations, tragically lost his life due to severe head trauma and the adverse weather conditions, as reported by El Día. This event’s absence is a significant loss for tourists who seek to experience the vibrant carnival atmosphere of Tenerife.
