• 4.5-hour trip: 25€ per sunbed (fits 2 people)
Local tip: If you’re using the bus transfer, head straight to the boarding gate as soon as you arrive. If you’re coming on your own, arrive at the meeting point before the bus does. Sunbeds are taken on a first-come basis, so the first guests onboard usually get them.
Transfers or Self-Arrival at Puerto Colón
Freebird offers free hotel pick-up from many areas in the south of Tenerife. Pick-ups take longer because the bus stops at multiple hotels. If you want a faster start, arrive directly at Puerto Colón harbour. This is usually the best option if you’re driving yourself or staying nearby.
Club Canary’s Take on Freebird Catamaran
Freebird catamarans are beautiful, trusted, and operated by one of the most experienced whale watching teams in Tenerife. In the off-season, this is honestly one of our favorite choices thanks to the space, comfort, and relaxed vibe.
In high season, the boats can feel busy — some people love the atmosphere, others prefer smaller groups. Booking with Club Canary gives you fast confirmation, local support, group discounts, and an easy way to combine this trip with other activities.
A Tenerife classic, done right — especially if you know what to expect.
